Default My little Keyword Research Trick-My first attempt to contribute.

I have read many ebooks and seen many videos on keyword research...But no one is talking about this important step....Maybe they are keeping it for themselves.

Many of you here maybe doing this as a part of keyword research....but for the ones who are missing it ....This is the post for you....

Here is the step......

1.Assume that youFind a keyword with good search count(i look for more than 60,000/month search keywords)

2.Go to google Trends and do a search for that keyword and find which country is searching most for the keywords.Sometimes the searches for a keyword maybe more but it would be searched by people from philipines and India(No offence) etc....In that case the keyword is of no use(Unless adsense is used to monetise site)

Look out keywords searched by US,UK,Canada if you are trying to sell something in that keyword site.

Hope this is of some help to guys who don't use this step already in Keyword research..

It was a step that I hadn't thought of so thanks for sharing that. I'll have to make a note of it for the future. That could be the key when people say they thought they had a good niche but it isn't converting.

How different can it be compared to the " keyword 'words' " on google search? Out of curiousity.

If you use googles adwords keyword tool you can set the country. The results you get then show the figure for search volume for country of your choice and secondly the search volume wordwide.

It can be very different depending on the keyword. To be fair many words will be heavier searched in the US & Canada but it may depend a lot on your niche.

It's always a safe and easy thing to check before constructing a project or campaign.
