Advice on Developing Dating Niche Blog ?

Yeah, I am debating about having a General Blog about Dating tips and Advice about love and where to find it and its geared towards both Men and Women.

But now I am torn of whether it should be about a Blog aimed at just Men and how Men can attract Women/ Find Women , pick up women etc..
This seems more targetted than the general dating blog.

But the general dating blog has more potential keywrods etc..

And I have a dozen other Blogs to manage so I do not want to do two different blogs here.

Thanks for any help concerning this matter !
Oh me oh my what to do ??

P.S. Is it better to have Majority of your Traffic to be Males ? Do Men make better Buyers for Dating products, e-books etc... than women in a general sense ??

If it were me.. I'd go with both...

I'm all for close niche targeting, but this is a niche that you can really take some power to and have success..

Capturing the hearts of both these sides is easily done.

Bear in mind, that I am only sharing my opinion from previous work in this niche.. it is definitely one that you can do..

    Peace

Yeah, I would like to do both but like I said I have 12 other Blogs that is taking up all my time. So I am trying to decide which of these two I should pursue, the more general one or the more laser targetted 'sub niche' one ??

      Thanks

Until you know what is working, or carries the most interest you may be best going wide, then analyze what is working and then, Go specific and create a site/blog which focuses on that one or two areas which are working

I would always go for the more laser targeted option with anything, but with a proviso.

You should also have laser targeted products to promote that go with it, and the ability to produce laser targeted content that you know will really capture the attention of the readers you're aiming at.

Start by picking out the products you want to promote. Then consider if there is an audience for that product that are really hungry. Then consider if you can do something to get the attention of that audience and redirect it to the product.

You need to identify the products, the audience, and your strategy to connect the two. If you can't find them and make that connection for a particular niche, try a new one.

On whether it's better to target male or female readers, that depends on your product selection. For example, some of the highest gravity products on Clickbank target men, but generally CPA offers will pay you twice as much for female leads as for male. eg Friend Finder pays $2 per woman and $1 per man.

It really does come back again to making your selection of products to promote and working from there.
