Michael,

In most cases, you can log into your account using the username and password, without needing the domain name. Then go to the phpMyAdmin panel and export the MySQL database as a .sql file. You can import it into another database elsewhere.

Or, just create a blog on the same server, but another domain, using the access details for that database. I'd back it up first anyway, just to be safe.

I had something similar happen and I got some good advice that worked. All you need to do is install wordpress in a new domain and then go and edit the wp-config file to point to the old database.

I do not know if I am saying that right, so here is a link to that post...

Smart people... I need your help :-)

Talk soon,

Shannon

I had a blog site, and a pissed off ex girlfriend got into my godaddy account and shut the domains down. I couldnt get them back but there is still a full wp install with a couple years of posts that i would like to get because i purchased the .net version of the domain and want to just move everything over or repost it as 'fresh 'content

Your data should still be on at your hosting account still intact. Do you still have access to your hosting account?

~Yeah I'm working on it~
