Has Going To an IM Seminar Improved Your Online Income ?

hey guys,

Some people don't realize the value in going to internet marketing seminars so i thought i would tell you about my experience and how it has impacted my business and income...

I have been marketing online for around 3 years now (mostly underground) but in the past 1 and a half years have started to go to many internet marketing seminars.

In June i flew out to Washington DC, from London for my first 'USA' IM seminar called 'JV Alert Live'

Let me tell you that by going to this seminar, i met and networked with so many people, it literally changed my business.

Just from the networking alone, i now have new business partners and joint venture partners who i wouldnt of been able to partner with if it wasnt for meeting them in person.

I even met a copywriter who charges $30k for sales copy, who would give me a huge discount.

I also met some very big name gurus who i wont name, but now have their personal email address, which i wouldn't have if i didn't go to this seminar.

While i was at the seminar, one of the 'gurus' that i met even promoted one of my products to their list for me, which generated over 50 sales that day!

its crazy because that particular person has hundreds of JV requests daily, and she just sent out a mailing for me without even telling me that day , because we had built a relationship during that time.

And as a result, this has really moved my business forward, having all these new contacts.

So what i am trying to say is that if you are new in Internet marketing, or if you have been in internet marketing and want to really move forward fast, then i suggest you start going to Internet Marketing seminars.

They don't have to be the big events put on by the gurus.

You can start by going to local internet marketing events or seminars in your area.

You can find a local IM seminar by going to a site like Meetup.com

Remember, the more relationships you can build in your internet marketing business, the MORE MONEY you will make.

Ask any guru and they will tell you the same.

and the best place to build relationships is by going to internet marketing seminars or networking events.

I kinda dislike their upselling 'parts' but at the same time, two thumbs up for networking at such seminars.

I was really worried that this was going to be another whiney, complaint-laden, bitch and moan fest about offline events ...

Thank god it wasn't.

Jani, clearly, you get it ... it's just sad that so many others don't.

I know that not everyone can get to every event, and that'd it probably be counter-productive to do so ... but I'm always shocked by the number of people who have NEVER been to an offline event, even when invite to attend for free.

We hosted an event in Atlanta a few months back, and based on our geo-data, we had over 3,900 people from the Atlanta area ( within a 1 hour's drive ), who got our invitation ... of those, 4 people accepted.

If you're in the Dallas area, and want to come out to an event ... let me know, and I'll let you in for free. Shoot me a PM. And, even if you're not in Dallas, but want to come out anyway ... let me know.

YESSS !!

This is SO good to hear ....

These seminars are absolute GOLD, and I will even say this to you ...

"That is where the business happens!"

I'll be honest, I dont tend to actually sit through the speakers anymore unless it is of value to me because as you all know most are pitch fests. However the networking and the relationships that have been built for me are INSANE..

Let me put this into perspective for anyone that is unsure...

September last year 2008 I was flat broke and could NOT make a cent online

October 2008 I took the plunge and went alone to my first ever event here in England, London....

There I met Alex Jeffreys for the first time, seeing someone this successful live really made me realise that this internet life style stuff was 100% REAL !

Within weeks of that event I made over $3,000 as an affiliate for 1 promotion

Early 2009 I attended a few smaller events and built up some more great relationships

About 3 months back I went to Las Vegas with Alex Jeffreys, whilst there I went to a couple of events going on... Mike Filsaimes BFM event and Anik Singals PPC classroom...

There I got to spend some personal time having a few drinks with Mike and many other marketers ...

I came home from Vegas ... went back to work the very next day and had handed in my notice of resignation by around 9am ! !

Are seminars valuable ??

HELLLL YEEAAHH !!

The networking ... The relationships ... The contacts ... THE INSPIRATION !

Get out there people, get networking ... Have fun !

And i'll be in the bar if you fancy a corona
