How should I plan the flow of my affiliate links?

Hi,
Hope you all are doing well.

I want to start a website/blog which will be monetized using affiliate links. I am confused how to plan the affiliate links flow. I have a few questions and scenarios here:

1. The actual flow =>
a. Should I just hyperlink to the product directly in the article?
b. Or should I list the product affiliate links on a separate page and link to that page from the article?
This flow is sketched in the image below.


2. If option b, then should I make the product affiliate links page no-follow and no-crawl so the SE bots don't bother reviewing it or is it fine to keep it normal and let them have it crawled?

3. In both cases, how should I cloak the affiliate links or make them hidden from bots? I'll be using WordPress.


In case of option b, I think it'll keep the visitor one click away from to get to the product buy page. On the positive side, it'll give them options to choose from and the links can be updated if the previous products are discontinued or whatsoever.

Please suggest me which way is better or if there is any other useful flow or method for affiliate links to be used, I'd love to hear it.

    If the products are relelvent to the article content, then by all means link within the article but only at the relevent point. Don't just scatter-gun links for the sake of it.

    If it's a product review - link near the beginning and at the end with perhaps a linked image in the middle.

    Basically, don't overthink what is really a simple issue.

    I would strongly recommend making affiliate links "no-follow".

    i know this advice has been played to death but there is a reason why it has been played to death. cuz it works.

    by hook or by crook get people to your site..engaging SEO prepped content, forum & blog commenting, paid traffic etc..

    ....see what gets the most emails in your optin box and start being the marketer i know you can be!

      Ike, in general I agree with this. But there are people out there who are ready to buy immediately. It's not fair to make them wait until you're done selling them...

    You can place your affiliate link/s within a compelling call to action section of your page content, or within a downloadable guide that will add some value to the overall experience of the buyer in using your affiliate product, or within enticing hidden content that's shown after the viewer clicks a Facebook Like button to become a fan of your Facebook page, or within an email with supplemental content that's sent to the buyer after signing up to your mailing list, and so on ...

    BUT ...

    If you plan to use Google, Facebook and Bing for your advertising campaigns (could be for anything that you can advertise in these networks so as to place your content and affiliate links in front of your target buyers), then:

    Integrating Google Remarketing, Facebook Retargeting and Bing Remarketing code into your page can give you some leverage in your advertising campaigns in these networks ...

    That's because your relevant ads in those networks can be shown from time to time to a user who has already visited your page in the past, whenever he or she's spending time in Google, Facebook, Bing or any relevant site and app that's in the display networks of Google, Facebook and Bing ...

    Well, that's unless the user has those ad blocking apps ...
