AdSense - still a good money-maker?

Hi Warriors,

I have done a little with AdSense, but not a lot. I've read that it isn't as profitable as it used to be . . . and so I was wondering if some of you on this forum are still making respectable money with it?

Any tips? Success stories? Advice?

    I have been selling blocks and slowly replacing adsense when there are buyers for that space. I am finding that running my own program is more profitable.

    adsense is a great way to make money for start up businesses but you need you own product to make the big bucks - I have only just worked this out

    Hi Susan,

    I spoke to someone yesterday that tells me he's making $2K - $3K a month with adsense with a network of websites so yeah, there's money to be made.

    Usually with adsense they pay more depending on the niche of your site(s) and how much the advertisers pay Google in that niche.

    Adsense was a good money maker a few years ago. Now they hardly pay anything for most niches. It's still a good way to monetize a website if you're a total newbie because you simply paste code on your site. However, once you get a little experience under your belt, you should start working with affiliate promotions. Last rung in the ladder is to have your own products.

    If you're going to create VRE sites to monetize with Adsense then focus on the niches which pay above $1.00 per click. There are some niches in the health, real estate, and legal niches which have those kinds of payouts per click.
