Need suggestions for a storefront

Hello all. I haven't posted in this forum in YEARS but I know where to go when I need some advice.

I could really use a little help from the gurus in here. I'm trying to find a recommendation on the easiest way to throw up a storefront. Something easy to navigate (on my end....being not too code/tech savvy) and easy to add items to. Just your basic Paypal shopping cart. I'm looking for something Wordpress if possible since I do have some experience there. I dont need sliders...videos...geo tagging....etc. Not really interested in all the bells and whistles. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you
Eddie

What are you selling? I set up my husband's site with WP, tables and a PayPal shopping cart. He makes and sells his own stuff, not affiliate products.

If I'm allowed (moderator-remove if it's not), here's his site:
Welcome to Jim's Custom Lighting - Jim's Custom Lighting

The main page has categories that go to the individual products, and each product has a PayPal shopping cart on it.

He actually sells more on eBay than he does from his own site, but that's because I don't promote it enough and he hates doing the advertising end. ROFL

I used the free GeneratePress on this; actually, I use that theme on all of my sites because it's so easy to work with.

Have you looked at services like shopify.com?

If you want to use Wordpress, then look at woocommerce for setting up a ecom site with WP.

I know I looked at those for hubby's site and I got all kinds of confused! (Not that that's hard to do actually )

He didn't need all the 'bells and whistles' either. I used a similar format - just a plain website with a PayPal shopping cart - when he was a distributor for high-ticket refrigeration equipment several years ago and it worked perfectly.

    +1 for Woocommerce.

It's pretty easy to get to grips with and with the amount of add ons available it can pretty much do anything you want.
