Default A great resource box

Can someone show me with examples of a great and powerful resource box for articles that I submit(a good example will do) to directories! Maybe show me where good examples are at, thanks.

I think you mis-understood that is what you should put in your resource box

I'm afraid this is exactly where you're mistaken: a good example won't do, because it depends on the article.

There's no such thing as a "great resource-box" in abstract.

The essential point is that your article should flow into the resource-box, almost as if the resource-box is the last sentence, leaving the reader inevitably clicking on the link to follow up their just-instilled fascination with "whatever comes next".

The art of doing this successfully is to ensure that on one level the article you produce fulfils the promise of its subject-line (otherwise EZA, to name but one, won't accept it anyway), so that it doesn't come across as "just a way to promote your link", while simultaneously ensuring that the reader does actually click on it.

Obviously, the ways in which one can try to achieve that are entirely context-dependent, which is why asking for a "good example of a resource-box" is of such limited value.

The most importnat thing is you need to make them curious!!

so, for weight loss for example, you would put: Are you making one of these 3 classic mistakes which will prevent you from EVER losing weight.

that works for me!

Phil is spot on with this, but it's only half of what makes up a great resource box. The 2nd half is a direct and strong call to action. So I would take Phil's great example and turn it into this:

Are you making one of these 3 classic mistakes which will prevent you from EVER losing weight? Find out what they are and how to avoid them by visiting [keyword link to your site] right now!

It seems self-evident, but a lot of people make the mistake of not including a very clear, straightforward instruction to click that link. You see, when people finish something (reading an article in this case), it's normal human nature to wonder what to do next. You have to tell them! Tell them explicitly. It works.

John

OK, go to ezinearticles.com and click on any article there. You'll see a resource box at the end. The last paragraph or two, usually with a link or two.

There are thousands of examples there. But if you follow the wrong kind, your article marketing will be much less effective. That's why some of us bothered to give you some advice. You're welcome.
