Thoughts on Frank Kern?

Never was a huge fan... he seemed cheesy to me.

But I have to admit I have gotten some recent Emails and he has had some tremendous Value in them.
Just really good, helpful stuff.

I know one of his Mantras is to Give up and beyond what others' expect.

So I have to give credit where credit is due.

Plus, contrary to what some think Frank has had Success outside of Coaching people to be better Coaches in MMO etc..etc..

It's well documneted his Success with the Dog Training Niche

Was he the "dog" in this scenario?

I like how he has changed his image over the years from mongrel to pedigree.

Cleaner cut. . . more business like.

Probably had to do it so he could spend his millions without getting moved on by cops and security guards.

    Best regards,

    Ozi

BTW. . . there is something likeable there.

Yeah I was watching his "radio show" the other day. The guy looks sharp...as well as very articulate.

And his personality is very likeable. Doesn't seem like a conceded a-hole...yes even to me who was a hater in the past lol

Frank has moved beyond Internet Marketing to wider business coaching in the areas where he has honed his craft...copywriting (on-line and offline), overall business strategy, advertising, etc...

What is interesting about Frank is that he's always experimenting, trying new things so that he can stay one step ahead of everyone by giving practical advice based on experience (instead of theory).

Fact is anyone else could do the same thing if they really committed to doing much more than talking, but almost nobody does.

Frank's also a master at telling stories (foundation of great sales) knowing how to package something he has learned into a PREMIUM offering based on knowing his market and telling stories.

The dog training ebook exercise was really tied to proving that anyone "could" develop a product around an area where they don't have expertise and make good money in the short-term...the challenge with that approach however is that unless you are willing to sell that to someone (flip it), you won't stick with it and it will fizzle out after a big bang. Not a long-term business strategy but more a short-term tactic to demonstrate that creating a product that sells doesn't require you to be an expert.

He has since moved on to bigger and better things...

Look at how he turned the whole FTC thing to his advantage and came back stronger. Magic.

IMO you'll get just as much value from studying his emails, sales pages and emails as you get from his products because he practices what he preaches.

I've been on Frank's email list for a few years now. He's one of the more successful people in our industry, and my motto is if you're making more money than I am online, then I can probably learn something from you.

I've been following Frank via. his email blasts for a few years also. He's been around for quite a long time and has put out some very good sites along the way imo.

Frank Kern has on-camera presence and personality that many of us can't duplicate. I could have all the knowledge and experience he has but I could never be as likable on screen as he is. There are some talents that just can't be taught.

    Discrat,

I'm not knocking what you said about Frank, but the whole principle of "over delivering" was publicized long before Kern came on the scene.

I've got to admit that the guy is charismatic and knows how to be the "anti-corporate" personality that wants to be your best friend for online business.

One of his early smart moves was to grow his inner circle of other top marketers so his group could all pat each other on the back when it came to endorsements, affiliate sales, cross-promotions, and the like.

Of course it was but he takes it to a level that very few really match, as least what I have seen lately

He's changed his scheme from the mass control days.

Now it's "If you're looking for 'The Easy Way', I don't want to help you." and stuff like "Start going down the "Internet Marketing" rabbit hole, and you'll see all kinds of ads and articles about free traffic, how to get rich by having other people promote your product, and all kinds of hype on the "latest loopholes" for "gaming the system".

Like him or hate him, Frank Kern is a pro when it comes to internet marketing. Even if you never buy anything from him, just reading about him and observing what he has done in the past and is doing now will teach you a lot about how to be successful online.

Bernie Madoff was very good at tricking people to part with their money too.

Somebody is using his name for a real online scammy product the Net Millionaire Book. They claim that he is part of this miracle software the gets leads and helps you make money instantly. Darby is the guy who sends the email promising the world. The best thing about the whole program is the beautiful Black & Gold Box. But there is NO software what there is is a Marketing Funnel created by another company that is really cool except they could not link your program to your autoresponder. The emails that were sent out was to a company that I had never heard of before called MWR. In fact, I am still getting emails from them on my behalf that link to this site. If "automated funnel" ever gets its act together, it is a cool program with video capture pages that are really engaging. But for now??? Darby, Kern and automated funnel = a Big NO.

He's a good talker, and his tips were good to start out in marketing years ago, but I think after reading/listening to him for a month or so you've gotten just about all the benefit you can get from his advice.

Personally he is my favourite big internet marketer.

Yes, he's had a run in with the FTC and lost a huge amount of money, but instead of crying in a corner like most people would do, he came back to do $18.3 million in under 24 hours.

In my opinion, he is the best in the industry.
