Sudden Drop in Conversions

Hey Everyone,

A while back, I was promoting the MyPcBackup affiliate program (Pay Per Sale), and making great money. I was averaging 3 sales a day which was over $400. Then it just stopped converting, like 0 sales with the same traffic, I have noticed that the EPCs on my networks have also dropped or remained stagnate.

I decided to walk through the process myself to see what the issue was and it seems that when using paypal, MyPcBackup doesn't go to the confirmation page and just stays on the upsell page.

Anyone else experiencing any problems with this?

    check your tracking

    check     with your affiliate manager. What's he/she saying?

    or maybe it's just one of those days and everything will bounce back tomorrow.

    Paypal is in the process of rolling out changes that require the merchant's server to accept SHA-2 encryption. If your problem is only related to Paypal, I would suspect that.

    You should notify your affiliate manager/MyPCBackup of the symptoms you are experiencing.

    They are most likely already aware of the Paypal issues (Paypal has been communicating with merchants on this subject for months now), and if their server is not currently SHA-2 compliant they should be able to give you a timeframe for when the problems will be resolved.
