Authorization Failure in Clickbank - What the hell does that mean?

Hey, I was looking at my active subscriptions the other day and came across one of my active subscriptions and noticed that instead of saying cancelled, or active it says authorization failure. Now the only thing I know is that it's still active however I was supposed to be rebilled the other day and I wasn't so I guess that's what it means by authorization failure but what the heck do I do?

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Authorisation failure means that thier credit car was rejected or they didn't have the cash in thier paypal account - or something similar. Clickbank will try again twice (i think - it may be once or three times - check with clickbank) the purchaser will be notified that this has happened so they can either put funds into paypal - or make sure their card isn't rejected.

As far as Clickbank is concerned this isn't dead - yet.

How you deal with it is up to you - you can e-mail your subscriber and ask if they are unhappy with your prooduct, you can suspend thier membership until funds come through - or you can just leave it and if it finaly fails then terminate thier membership.

    Hope that helps

When I get them I just let it be - CB will try 3 more times time I believe to collect the fee.

If it goes thru it goes thru. If it doesn't the membership is automatically canceled after CB tries all those times.

If you search "authorization failure" in their help section they will give a complete review of the process.
