Starter Guide for a complete Newbie

Hi folks, I am an absolute newbie to this field

Can anyone recommend a start up guide in easily to read format? Any books, Ebooks, Anywhere I can find trust worthy information will be most welcome

Hi Irishfella,

If you are brand new to internet marketing, you can always visit some Internet Marketing Blogs. If you visit www winning the web dot com and type in "Top IM Blogs, you will find over 350 of them. Many of them have free ebooks you can download and learn from, and you can also sign up for their ezines and learn alot about getting started from the blogs that you find you really like.

Start doing it. You will learn as time goes ...

There is no such thing like read everything before start doing it. Learn while you doing it. There is whole lot of information on the net.

But follow this simple outline:

* Find your niche.
* Get a host
* Upload your website/product
* Promote it by all means (seach engines, article promotion, email marketing, forums, blog posts etc)

Dont buy anything yet.Read through some posts here first.Use the search feature for exactly what you want.
I have at least 6 ebooks that are supposed to be step by step but they dont show all the steps.
For example,one from a well known marketer says its how to setup a site,but,when it comes time to build the squeeze page he says thats a whole new ebook and wont be covered in this one.

Is the Make Money Online forum open to you? I'm not sure if that's open to all registered members or just War Room members.

You need to break it down into a couple of key areas:

Monetization - How do you want to make your bucks? Writing info products (ebooks/audio corses/videos) and selling it? Promoting other people's info products (affiliate marketing), content websites (stuff a website full of quality content and use google adsense, amazon ads. clickbank ads to pay you an amount per click/referred sale.

Traffic - search this forum for things like article marketing, social bookmarking, PPC, search engine optimization, building a list, etc

Then it's all about combining the two. Traffic + monetization method = money for you.

That's probably confused you even more but just google/search warrior for terms you don't understand and eventually it all comes together into one big internet marketing...urm...pie?

I am also a newbie and I was fortunate enough to be given a copy of "The Beginners Guide to online Success"

I 110% recommend this to a newbie, its very easy to follow and has all the right components to get you started.

I hope Im not breaking any rules but the Guide is in my sig.

I have seen other newbie guides and none of them come close to this one.

Your better asking yourself why do people want me buy this product or service,There is so much good and bad stuff about in ebooks,

i would concider if your new the 30 day challenge as it is a free course with video guides on you tube on how to get started and learnt the free and easy way

I also put in my vote for the 30 Day Challenge. You really cant beat the price (its free) and it is packed with videos that take you step by step into the world of internet marketing.

Then you can build on that base with the valuable info on this very forum.

Article marketing is a popular place to start for newbies.

For the basic theory, look up Travis Sago's bum marketing method. Then for a more detailed guide, look up Casey Gentles. Also, the 30 day challenge is is a good free course for newbies

Remember, you can get a good start with just free information. I would recommend waiting until you have a decent understanding of things before you start actually paying for any WSO's.

@Irishfella.If your on a dial up connection or isp forget the 30 day challenge.
I tried and cant do it.
Second thing is you have to download a large file of somesort to run i believe Market Samuri.I couldnt download that either.
But it is a good start.
Send me a pm if ya want a freebe book with just the basics,like whats around and different techniques,ect...
