Default Refer a good ghost writer?

Hi guys. I am looking for someone to write articles for several websites that I have. If you have used someone that you would describe as a good to excellent writer that is honest, dependable and affordable please respond with their contact info. Thanks in advance.

(Ghost writers, please no self promoting. I want to hear from others how good you are. Love ya but do not have time to get ripped off or time wasted. Sorry not trying to be harsh, just don't have time for games right now.)

Charlie

You're not quite in the right place, Charlie: this section is for copywriters, not content writers. This post will help you out.

Alexa Smith ...

... writes stuff that snaps, crackles and pops - even if it's only about cauliflowers.

First of all... honest, dependable, cheap - pick two.

Now for you affordable might be $20/article... but if you want good writers who'll work for peanuts... ain't gonna happen.

My recommendation is CDarklock - he's a Warrior and his writing is pretty damn outstanding. I'm quite impressed with Alexa's writing, too (see above) but I don't know if she does work for hire.

Kind regards,

-Dan

what you need to do is go to elance.com and post a job.

set up a payment system where you pay 30% upfront 30 halfway and 40% on completion.

i have never had a good experience anywhere else, (it may take a couple of jobs to find a good worker but you will find them), oh yeah, tip them if they do a good job between 10% and 20% to keep them happy and loyal.

Hi tina,

You are correct I apologize for not saying that he does not write all of his articles. Your right he should let others know he doesn't write all the articles.

Steve, I just went through a bs deal so the escrow idea is great advice. Thanks for the tip. I will not pay in advance again.

I am sorry, but I may be biased. Elance sucks!

If you do wish to use a third-party to find a freelancer, then I would suggest RentACoder.com ... in my opinion you get better freelancers to work on your project there.

Also, there is a Warriors For Hire section on these forums (which was linked to in the post Alexa pointed you to).

Now, I am not saying that these two places will be without their faults... But (in my opinion), there are many more pros vs. cons using these two rather than using Elance.

Just my 2 cents.

JC
P.S. I would recommend Lisa Giannetti. She is a reputable Warrior, and ranked the #2 freelancer on RentACoder.com -- her prices are not cheap, but neither is her writing. If you want valued content, then you pay for valued content... and Lisa is a good choice

Here's the guy I use. Great research and content. Never had an issue with timelines. Not the cheapest in town but, worth the little bit extra to have good communication and content. I'm sure if you PM him he will work with you on payment.

I used Elance and was very pleased with results. Elance is the way to go! I found several excellent writers, fairly priced and the escrow system was a good way to keep from being ripped off. I highly recommend Elance.
