Thanks Cartier for a very educative post.

I particularly like the insight by Alex Birkett on leveraging influencers in your niche. It's seems not too technical and difficult to execute.

    Thanks.

There is no good reason to self promote here. If you want traffic than use other method .
Warrior forum is not for spaming.

NO. The WF is all about self promotion, which by the way the OP did not do, he posted a link to a useful blog post, informative and of high quality content. Your worthless comments, along with you sig links to how to hack ATM's is the real spam in this case.

You won't last long here, but while you are here, try a little self promotion, it is what the WF is ALL about.

Lest anyone get the idea that Gordon is saying it's okay to indulge in annoying tactics like null-content posts that are shorter than the sig you're trying to promote, or trying to drop links (and cloaking them - like you're the first one to think of that), he's not.

There was a long stretch where post like the OP's weren't tolerated because for every post like this that linked to something valuable, there were ten linking to squeeze pages, sales pages, and "reviews" by clueless affiliates.

Now the new owners seem to be loosening the reins a bit, and we're getting some good referrals. It's one way members, especially new members, can add value while they learn.

And that's how you self-promote on the Warrior Forum. By adding value and building a reputation for knowing what you're talking about. If you offer an opinion, back it up with actual data or the thinking behind your opinion. If you offer a link, tell us why you think it's good.

Then, if you have something to offer, add it to your signature. People that find value in your posts and a need/want for what you offer will click through. I don't visit the WSO section anymore, haven't for a couple of years. But I have bought WSOs and other products via the sigs of members I have learned to like, respect and trust.

Works a heck of a lot better than sig pimping or meaningless one-liners in every thread just to show that sig.

Try clicking the words "great post" in the original post. (Clue: it's actually a link.)

They really should make the link anchor text styling much more apparent, to be fair.
