Hello Warrior Forum. I've just started a blog that's very important to me and I love to get my articles around the world and get much traffic.
Since I'm too busy with other businesses in my life and recherche etc. takes a lot of time I just want to focus on WRITING and posting it to my blog. To be on point: I am searching for someone to market this project. I don't pay anything since I don't make anything from it YET! I'm looking for a partner with real passion for this thing (Only professionals please)! If you're interested hit the PM button.

Thank you

Sounds like you need to create a nice product and sign up a lot of affiliates who will do the marketing for you on a commission.

I write articles and eBooks, the rest has to be done by the partner making the most profits out of my products.

    Hey thewb

man I got to be honest ... this doesnt sound very appealing at all !!

So please correct me if I am wrong here ....

    - You have set up a blog ( nice move )

    - You post content to it ( like we all do to our own )

    - You cant be bothered / dont have time to generate traffic or do any marketing to get your information in front of an audience

    - You want someone else to spend time generating your traffic for you to your blog

Please excuse my bluntness and if I have is-read your post I am sorry ...

However if I am right in what I think you are saying then really why would anyone do this for you ??

Many people have a blog of their own and most peoples number 1 problem is traffic generation so why on earth would soeone send all their efforts to you and your blog ?

Maybe this will give you chance to explain in further detail and try to get some interest but simply saying I post content to my blog will you market it for me seems a little odd to me...

    Just my thoughts

A writer needs a publisher and a publisher needs writers, both profit. My passion is writing and I need someone whose passion is to market this. Its simple business. Someone produces a car and someone sells it, you can do it all by yourself or find someone who will do it for you, be partners and cut the profit 50-50. Not every internet marketing professional is writing, right?

        Yups but every wannabe does...

Professional internet marketers usually delegate the writing stuff because they've learned so much and know how to leverage..
Plus they've earned enough to outsource the content writing part.

If it's alright may I ask what value are you giving your niche or plan to give to your niche in the future. I think you can only find partners if you have a clear idea of what value you are providing not just to the partner but also to the crowd you want generated by your partner.

I could easily send you traffic, I can even do it for free but only after knowing what value you give others first...

My value is to help people out, to motivate them and share a lot of stuff that will help them out. I've started with articles and I will write eBooks, too. I really want people to communicate on this site and share their experiences. That's why I want to focus on the writing part and find someone to do the other stuff. I am focusing on my strength instead of doing something half professional just to say 'You need to do all by yourself'.

So you will be deciding what content goes on the site and the other person blindly gets you links?

I am a web developer. So if I make a reallly good software and I approach a marketer to get it out there. I am not going to put in a single cent to invest any money. Here's what's happening:

Marketer takes 60-70% of the profits. I get 30-40%.

Yes, that's right. That's how it is done.

People are already doing it: FlashDen, Themeforest etc, are websites where web develoers submit their work. On each sale the web developer gets 30%. If it sells really well they get 70%....which is after the product sells 100 copies!

    50-50 ? Nope.

Does the blog have a contact form? No.
Do we know your real name? No. [Mosieur may be a title, and thome may be a last name]
    Where are you from? No.
Anything at all to build trust? No.

Does the blog communicate a benefit?

"Somebody has to tell you! - An upclose and personal blog by Monsieur Thomé"

    No.

    Is the writing good? No.
[9 "Asshole" in one post? Most bloggers reluctantly use the word a-hole.]

Does it have a lot of content? No. [2 Posts]

Why would anyone look at this blog and believe it has a possibility of becoming a money making blog?

Does it actively invite people to subscribe? No.

So there you go, some reasons why people wouldn't want to promote your blog for free.

In practice, this is a deal you would propose to someone you know and have worked with in the past. I am no saying you should propose this to your friends. Think about this, what prevents you from going back on your word? This is an international forum. There is no legal agreement here to bind both parties. After I do all the work of building links for you, you can just as easily flip me off and take all the income. I can't go and remove the links I created for you on other people's websites now can I?

I suggest you DO spend some time on your blog. Write guest posts on similar blog, create some content to give away in return for email or RSS subscriptions. Or, I am really sorry to say this bluntly, if you feel this is a tall order give up on blogging.

You need a lot of personal investment in blogging. No one will do the work for you.

Please don't get too emotional on this one. If you're not taking this offer it's alright. I search for people who want to negotiate and not waste my time. Nobody cares about your opinion about how often I use the a-word or if you like 50-50 or not; it's called calculated risks doing business together. I'm not ****ing anyone over, I need someone to tell me how to get this thing going and nobody telling me any time wasting pointless stuff.

My advice would be to create several posts on craigslist under Philippines, Malaysia and India. Using the title Outsource Your Product Reviews or Outsource Your Website Content Writing... Something of that nature.. You would have better luck as a writer than asking people to market your blog. That's just my advice. I have been wrong before... Well once... No really man Good Luck!!!

Actually the whole idea of having one person be a content writer and another person be a marketer IS a great idea, so I'm surprised to see so many Warriors shoot this idea down. This is in fact something Ryan Deiss does, becomes a "publisher" by partnering with content providers who create all the content, and he just does the marketing.

However, the marketer is not building links to the content providers personal blog, I believe typically the marketer/publisher is the one with control of the website and they are building links to their own website, and paying the content provider from their profits.

I think partnering up with someone is a good idea. I am about to do that myself. I am teaming up with a published writer and we are going to produce blogs and add several good articles to each site. With a view to offering them as a good start up base to someone just getting invlolved.
However as others have said above, you do need to build trust and at least have a product to promote.

    Hi

I wasnt here to shoot the idea down but what you seem to have missed is the fact the work will be divided as you say, and you even say the money will be 50 / 50

    HOWEVER ....

The blog will be yours, any lists building will be yours ... The assets of the business basically are all yours.

I just believe the arrangement you are putting forward is greatly in your favour, and IMHO the marketing is the hard part anyway. Writing a blog if you are passionate about that topic is simple but getting it in front of your audience (marketing) is the part that requires all the work.

Why would you not consider becoming a freelance writer ?

You say writing is your passion so why not go with that ? You enjoy writing so write and get paid for it !

You could run your own blog which would also sell your services as a writer.

If you write keyword targeted blog posts you would begin to rank for them and get free traffic anyway...

Get actively involved in a few good forums like here with your signature in your posts, run a WSO to get your name out as a writer.

If your writing is good then you will have no problem getting clients.

I didnt want you to think my last post was an attack on you, more so I dont think your offer was fair .

Hope you figure stuff out, I just think you have some better options that will have greater benefits to you

No I don't think you try to attack me, I just think you re not a succesful person by the way you type. You sound like the average person typing an essay just to say why this and that won't work, but who cares? I offer a business partnership, it's 50-50 and that's it. I can make a contract that is secure and the person working for the site will be granted 50-50, if not you can sue me. So who cares? The thread title is 'Searching for someone to market my blog'. It's 50-50 on profits and it's about making money. Did I ask for people tell me that I'm a bad writer? Or that there are enough blogs in the world? I don't need people telling something won't work out, I need someone who tells me HOW it WILL work.
      Good luck to you!

Okay, I looked at the blog and it really needs a lot of work. I would suggest getting someone to help you with the appearance because right now it is really bland. You want a blog that will draw people back to it because of appearance and the content. A blog should be personal and should have you in it. Right now it does seem that you have the time for something that you are so passionate about and also you need to offer something to members to take on this project because it will take an expert to really build the traffic you need. That's my honest thoughts on the blog.

2.) That's why I search for some professional telling me how we can sell this ship
