Google-MSamurai are driving me Crazy!!

I am a very astonished and mad about the results I get in MS and how to use them especially in the SEOC tab, or is it Google?.

I have found some apparently great niches with very low competition in MS.
Example:
wireless stereo speakers 559 37% 29,100 $1.90

Total promising prospect, looks excellent to me, I am going to buy the domain.!!

But when I go to Google browser and search for:

intitle:"wireless stereo speakers" the result goes to:

Results 1 - 10 of about 190,000 for intitle:"wireless stereo speakers"

Oooops, and the project goes to the trash can!
This is happening to me most of the time and for almost all keyphrases, what is going on and how do I fix that?
This is awful...

Take a look at the pic...
Has this ever hapenned to you or is my imagination?

    Check this out:

    Google

It may be a bit different depending on your data center but if I go to page 11 using your search string I only get 108 results for intitle:"weber grill parts" and the old omitted results message on the bottom...

There must be a lot of shopping pages with those keywords in the title. I like to just concentrate on the top 4 results using just the search string and analyze the PR and links they have. With this keyword you would have a tough time beating out the Weber homepage.

What does your answer got to do with the huge inconsistency I am showing ?
I published this thread in Noblesamurai forum , but it was automatically closed with no answer!!

Of course: intitle:"kw" should always be smaller than "kw" alone!

What I was saying is that if you actually click through to the 11th page you will see much less results for your allintitle search which is a lot closer to the number MS shows. I think I got 108 and MS showed about 300. A lot closer then over 200,000.

No offense, but I find your idea quite nonsense!
Who would aim at a 11th page of Google?
          What is your point?

I don't quite get what you're saying here, actually.

In you're original example you quoted 29,100 results which
            would be the 2,900th page.

By your logic you wouldn't target that either.

Your MS results for allintitle was 308. You were saying Google was giving you over 200,000. If you clickthrough the page 11 or so in the search results for allintitle:"webber gril parts" you will see that the results change to 108 and at the bottom it says it omitted some duplicate results.

That 108 is much closer to 308 then the google results on page one showing over 200,000.

I am not telling you to target page 11 and don't get why you would even think that.

    Hey there archkre,

Just wanted to chime in and say that I have experienced this as well. Sometimes the other columns in my results get "crazy inaccurate" too. Usually around the same time this starts happening Google will also block me (well my IP) from doing any more KW research for a bit.

I have noticed this happening more often, even when I am not doing any hefty-backtoback KW research. I am pretty sure MS uses built-in proxies, but I have noticed this happening more often lately, and some of my results get all off-kilter more frequently too.

With all this said though, MS is still one of the best investments I have ever made.

I just ran your exact query through both MicroNicheFinder and MarketSamurai

    MicroNicheFinder showed 192,000 results
    MarketSamurai showed 29,100 results

Hmmm. Definitely need to keep an eye on that. Would be nice if they'd answer your question, though.

      Hmmm this is strange,

I just did your "wireless stereo speakers" search and my numbers match almost exactly, check the attached image. So from that I would say it's reporting correctly, but it's strange that you're getting massively different results.

Guess it's a good reminder that all these tools only give you an estimate and it pays to do at some basic cross-referencing.

Also I'll add that the SEOC column isn't reporting an intitle search, it's reporting a phrase matched search. For the title search you want to look at the SEOTC column.

      Cheers,
      Ben

The same thing happened to me with Market Samurai when I was doing some KW search today. I ended up checking all the "good" keywords given to me by market samurai with the google keyword tool and then searched to see how many sites the words were found in google by doing an all in title search for all the words. Found many inconsistencies between MS and google findings and it appears to happen more and more often lately.

Exactly the same thread was closed with no answer or futher investigation by Noblesamurai!

    Very suspicious

If the primary function of MSamurai, keyphrase research, does not work as expected, I really don't care about the rest of the modules of the program!

While I can't speak for others I have to say that I've found Market Samurai to be usually very accurate and a great market research tool.

Occasionally it's given me a weird result but for the most part it works and works well.

      Cheers,

Nobody is questioning MSamurai or its value!
I am just showing clear evidence of a very dangerous inconsistency.
      Just beware.

The program is still in the beta stage and has not officially been released, so that means they are still working on it. That could be part of the problem.

Is still Google in beta stage?
Because the problem is clearly Google's!

Hey man, google is like the Wonka factory, nobody ever goes in, nobody ever comes out, who knows what them umpaLumpaBots are up to? Google is coming out with a new version to counter Bing so maybe they are tweaking it a little.

The easiest way to get around this problem is to actually run an adwords campaign. If you're not getting many impressions chances are that the niche is a bust. Adwords is the best point of reference if you ask me.
