Hello warriors,
just wondering why i cant have one of my websites or blogs showing on the warrior forum in the signiture links,

Everytime i do i get some one either reporting me as spam or the link being taken down, im not bashing anyone just that im at my wits end, im not here to sell some naff stuff people dont want im here to learn more about internet marketing.

however it seems many other warriors are fine to show clickbank pages as their pages?? so confused on this? i put my blog or a site up and its gets deleted

anyone having the same problems
regards
andy

If you're getting threads deleted, there's something wrong with your sigs. The members are the ones reporting you...not the admins.

I agree with Alexa that is what I figured was going on with your links.

        Alexa, You are correct.

Lets cut to the chase and just state what the Sig rules are shall we?

        SIGNATURE FILE RULES

Sig Files are getting out of hand.

We're getting all colors of the rainbow and some people are using massive fonts...comes a time when things need to get back into line so...

        NEW SIG FILE RULES

        (1) Maximum length of sig file is 5 lines which includes any blank lines used for spaces.

        (2) You are only permitted 1 color in your sig file, this can be any color so long as it's black (hyper links can be blue as they come up this way on the board)

        (3) Sig files may only be written in the normal standard font size.

        (4) You may bold or italicize but that's it.

        added by admin:

        (5) No Affiliate Links Allowed - Promote Your Own Domain/s Only. It's either this or we have to cut out sig files altogether which we do not want to do.

        (6) Anyone Caught Promoting The Same Site/Offer Will Be Deleted. Program owners are telling their members to come here and make posts to promote their offer in their sig files. This has caused tons of useless messages to be posted and it is clogging up the forum. Anyone caught doing this will have to be removed. This is not an ad forum - it is a discussion forum.

Edit: We have no problem with someone pointing to their WSO within their sig.

Edit: Due to certain people trying to find a loophole I needed to add yet another edit. Please do not try to get around these rules by getting your own domain name and simply redirecting it to an affiliate program. You Will Be Removed From Here When Caught.

If you want to promote an affiliate program do it on your own domain. Your own web site. Not a "pre-made" web site. Your own web site, a real one. Then put THAT web site in your sig file.

A simple way to stay within this rule is this: Promote Your Own Real Web Site And Do Not Listen To Anyone Who Tells You To Come Here Just To Promote A Site They Created For You.

Are these 2 following sig rules about only using the NORMAL STANDARD FONT SIZE still in effect? because I am increasingly seeing people using many different styles of fonts, and/or sizes (one font size larger, or smaller) without being noticed/removed/given infractions...

    (3) Sig files may only be written in the normal standard font size.

    (4) You may bold or italicize but that's it.
I thought this meant what is says, but apparently many folks are trying to test these rules...

    Hi Andy

What I'd suggest you do is carefully study everyone elses links to see how it's done.

As has already been stated, you are not allowed to link to anything affiliate related (and there are very good reasons for this rule).

I'm sure you'll be fine after a while

    Regards
    Kim

The easiest way to handle this is to send the Admin a profanity filled message expressing your disgust and letting him know that you don't think it's fair.

Seriously, give it a shot - you will be surprised by the results

I bet you liked poking hornet's nets with a stick when you were a kid, didn't you? - when a bunch of other people were around

Don't worry about your sig file too much. Sig files are very important. I've even created a past product around them. But focus on your various profile links. Google loves forum profiles. There I said it. One tip that is worth more than 1000 ebooks you might buy.

    Hi Andy

With 129 posts you're obviously not a total newbie to the forum. What I suggest you do is to go back and read all the forum rules again - in particular the rules about sigs.

If sigs, threads or posts get deleted then there is something wrong with them that break the rules. It may not always seem obvious at first but they don't get deleted for no reason.
