Hey Everyone!

I am looking for some help marketing my e-book series. I am definitely looking for some feedback (constructive or otherwise) about my current plan of action, because obviously something is not working. I am selling online training and in-person training to my local area without too many problems, but i'm trying to sell this ebook series to a global audience.

I have a three part ebook series. I have been marketing it through facebook, mentioning it in my blog posts, and adwords. At this time, i've had 1 sale. Just 1.

I am only getting about 50 page views a day on my main site, and 80-ish per day on my blog.

At this point I know i need to change something, but i'm not sure what. Here's some ideas i have and i want to throw out here for some feedback.

1.) I am currently selling the series as a three part series. I'm considering selling it as 1 bundle, 1 guide, 1 solution, 1 plan.
2.) I'm considering re-naming the series, as well as doing another photoshoot for a fresh cover.
3.) I'm considering making my nutrition and flexibility guide (both of which are LONG-TERM LIFESTYLE guides) a video course series on udemy.
4.) I'm considering finding an affiliate or someone to help promote this product, because with the traffic i'm getting my conversions are low.
5.) I'm considering selling this product on a marketplace like amazon, fiverr, etc.

Can someone please give me some advice? I believe in my product, and i know that it provides tremendous value that people not only want, but NEED (I would have KILLED to have this information when i started), so i want to get this to as many people as i possibly can. Not just for my profit, but because it's something i'm very passionate about.

If anyone has suggestions like updating copy, other tactics i should try, changing my webpage, etc. PLEASE do not hesitate!

thanks so so much!

Do you have it in the kindle store? That would be the first place I would put it, especially a series. If the series is good, it is also smart to make the first book cheap or perhaps even free, then change for the second two.

Sounds like you have a winner on your hands.
If you are making sales in the brick and mortar world then that shows there is a demand for your product.
One thing that comes to my mind is this.
The internet customer is a whole different breed from "real world" shoppers.
It generally takes a little more time for them to buy. You have to take the time to allow a "relationship" to develope between you and your potential customer. A higher level of trust so to speak.
A good way to do this is with the use of follow up messages. (You should be capturing as many e-mail as you can from your present traffic). I would suggest getting a good auto responder and setting up a follow up series of emails.
Also you may try offering them something of VALUE for free as an incentive to register their email with you and to also further promote yourself as an expert in you field. It can be a free report outlining why they need what you have or something similar.
And my final thoughts on you delimma is traffic concerns. In internet marketing of websites TRAFFIC is the name of the game.IMHO.
I would suggest doing some SEO on your site and if budget allows incorporate PPC advertising.
The more targeted traffic you generate the higher your chances for more sales.
Sorry this was so long but I hope this helps.
    Best of Luck!

thanks so much! yes, i've got an opt-in with a free guide as an incentive. i'm then marketing to these individuals along with showing them results others have gotten, etc. to build trust.

you may be right though, traffic is the name of the game. i'm not too familiar with how PPC works, so i'll try and research that some more. im trying to do anything i can to get more traffic. thanks!

    1. How compelling is your sales page? Are you following a proven sales formula and do you have a strong call-to-action?
    2. Are you putting your offer in front of very targeted prospects?
    3. Are you marketing the benefits of your course to the buyer rather than the features?
    4. Are you sharing a number of great testimonials from happy customers?
    5. What are you doing to stand out from the huge crowd of competitors that are selling in your same marketplace?
    6. What are you doing to drive targeted buyers to your web site?
    7. Are you specifically targeting your Facebook ads?
    8. Have you approached the top 100 authority sites in your niche with a JV opportunity?
    9. What distribution channels in your niche have you set up?
    10. How many times have you been interviewed about your book and have you distributed these interviews in your niche?

Of course there are many, many ways to promote a book. Answer these questions honestly and you should find some additional success.

Missing some key details such as title, topic (assume fitness, but exact title and target market would be useful), pricing on bundle, and more detailed breakdown of the traffic by source.

    In general, some advice:

    1. I would offer each ebook by itself and then offer an upsell to the bundle - have found this to work best in the past for digital products where you can often get more for each ebook if purchased separately and still sell through 50% upsell to the bundle where it is the better deal

    2. Watch your conversions closely - try and focus on one origin of traffic and get that converting by tweaking if your conversion rates are low - too many variables and it's tougher to test. For example, run some split-tested Google ads against a few different sales pages to improve conversions, then you can expand to other forms of traffic. Organic social traffic is really tough to test with first and it can be wildly inconsistent in terms of targeting, however paid FB can be very good to use to run tests

    3. You'll want to setup a sales funnel to capture and build a list - put them through a small video series and then offer your products on the back-end...this way you build a list and can re-market your products and bundles to them

    4. Wouldn't push hard on affiliates until you have the front-end sorted out a little more

Actally there are some services that will help you get a very good sales for your ebook, you need a good budget for best result.
Like others have commeted, you'll need to hook up your ebook on Amazon, but not necessarily the actual ebook, you may write a related ebook on same niche, then make that ebook free, promote the ebook on amazon using some services to expose your book to targeted audience. As you do this, make sure to promote your money ebook in the free one but in a profesional manner-- don't be spammy in this---

Marketing e-books can be hard. Have you read Write, Publish, Repeat, or Platform by Michael Hyatt?

I would strongly suggest that you have a version of the book on Amazon Kindle. Also maybe have a full more elaborate version that you recruit affiliates for. You may need a somewhat different version so that the kindle unit and what affiliates sell are somewhat different.

Id simply build a landing page maybe giving away the first chapter of your book with a well written follow up sequence in your autoresponder.
