"Featured" Posts WP Plugin?

I spent 5+ hours today looking for a "featured" posts plugin for WP and found a few but none to suit my needs.

I am looking for one like the sticky feature in WP 2.8+ but will allow me to enter multiple post IDs and display like the one on JohnChow.com. I dont want to have to edit each post to add/remove.

Any suggestions?

of the pages look superb. Normally
we see featured banners at the
top of the websites..

Hi.

Are you referring to the horizontal scrolling window under John Chow's "Featured Articles" section?

If so, I looked at his site and it appears to be using a jQuery function called jCarousel.

I couldn't find any WP plugins although this site explains how to implement it if you don't mind a little code tweaking.
