Hi all, I have a big problem with my CTR on my Fat Burning Furnace - Reviews,Consumer Reports blog. For instance last 7 days I had 1000 unique visitors and ONLY 27 Hops and 2 sales. Ok 2 sales maybe not too bad, but 2.7% CTR to the vendor page is nearly nothing. /I tried to cloak the links, but that not helped/ All of my visitors to that page was highly targetted / "product name" - review -scam -how it works -buy, etc../ Maybe somebody hacked may webpage or affiliate id, but I can't see anything in the source. I had some review pages with 30% CTR to the vendor page, so I really dont know what I do wrong now. So please can somebody take a look to my blog, I need to find out what is the problem, cause I dont know what to do. Thanks |

In my opinion your review is way too short, and you're not really preselling the product. You give it 9.5 out of 10, but to be honest I don't really believe you've actually read it (you could write that much from reading the sales page). After reading it I'd definitely need to look for more information elsewhere as I wouldn't be ready to 'push this button to get started right now'. Most people that want to lose weight have probably tried and failed with alot of different products already - you have to do something to make yours stand out as the REAL solution.

Thanks for your reply. It used to be a 1500 words review, but the CTR was even lower. So now I am tryin a shorter one, the CTR improved a lilbit, but it have to be minimum 20% in my oppinion. The main problem is, the visitors usually check loads of review sites before they buy, my page is the 1st on Google for terms like product name - review... so they check it, and just read a few more other sites before they decide to buy, especially in the weight loss niche.

1)This is normal these days due to recession. 2)Your affiliate links are not cloaked. Make sure you cloak them using Clickbank. 3)Why there is no opt-in form on your site? This is must these days. 4)Use professional header for your site. |

I think you should re-do your headline. It doesn't convey any benefit or USP and to some people who are "big boned" and not "fat" it may completely turn them off, or possibly offend them. Look for ways to sympathise with your target market and tell them a story that shows how their life can be better. The story should involve the product your promoting. |

You have a lot outside link leakers. Get rid of your side bar I can garuntee Higher CTR by having this format LINK TO CLICKBANK 1 Short Paragraph LINK TO CLICKBANK Although it won't gaurntee better clickbank conversions :-) It's a catch-22 |

Hey OP, thanks for promoting FBF...I just reviewed your landing page and besides the other feedback you've gotten here, you should update a couple things: 1. the image for the product you're using is a year old and doesn't contain the new very different graphics...this is probably causing a disconnect with the visitor. 2. the listing of bonuses is also a year old, we don't offer those any more. You definitely want to promote what is being offered rather than use old data...that will make difference in your outcome. Hope that helps... |

I would drop the nav bar up top. It looks like an incomplete site due to their only being a home tab. As said previously drop the second table with your banner and all the linked blogs. You want to try to funnel your traffic to the affiliate site, not these other links. The page itself really needs some love as it looks very unprofessional and probably gets you some really high bounce rates. If you have any analytics(google is free) you can look at your sites bounce rate (probably really close to 100%), tell the average time spent on your site and use the site overlay feature to see what is being clicked. google.com/analytics if you aren't familiar with it. Also work on your header. Reviews,Consumer Reports, what does that mean? Use keywords related to the industry. Heck just adding on Fat Burning Furnace will at least tell the customer what you are reviewing. Little things like that can make a big difference on conversions. |
