Best Alternatives For Monetizing An Amazon Affiliate Site

Hi

I used to run a high traffic Amazon product reviews site which made a bulk of my online income, but my Amazon account was banned recently and since then I have been unable to look for any alternatives.

At the moment I am planning on using Viglinks (again Amazon is not approving me here) by using multiple merchants as most merchants don't have all of my products. My income may not be as high as Amazon but something is better than nothing.

Please do let me know if there are any other ways of monetizing my site now that Amazon is no longer an option.

Regards

Adsense can be an alternative for now until you get account from amazon

      Hi

I already tried AdSense, I was making a small fraction of my income from Amazon, I need an affiliate alternative. Something like Kohl's or Walmart.

I would look into walmart they are adding more and more products daily, they seem to be following the amazon model, I would also join ebay partner program.. Also join a few networks like commission junction, share a sale, to name a few.

One thing to think about is, why you were banned. You might find yourself getting banned by other affiliate programs and or networks if you follow the same practices that got you banned on amazon

Search for the same products as you already have on your site and see who else is selling them, then see if they have an affiliate account. Many of them have affiliate accounts managed by one of the above.

Why did Amazon ban you? Was it something that will get you banned by other companies too?

That's the first thing I thought of.

Before you sign on with a new vendor or network, make sure that whatever got you banned from Amazon won't be an issue with your new vendors. Either that, or prepare to keep repeating this experience until you run out of vendors.
