Best "Freebies" For An IM List?

Hello,

I'm in the process of developing an Internet Marketing list and am filling up my auto-responder with affiliate links and would like to offer some great free stuff to my list as well.

Does anyone know where I can get some great free stuff for a list of this type?

    Affiliate networks often have free offers such as signups/information requests, money saving sites, etc. Also, perhaps you could offer an ebook or two as a freebie?

    Two things:

    Make the freebie relevant to your niche. Make it valuable information within the niche that you are focusing on. It should go hand-in-hand with the products your are selling.

    The second suggestion is to create the freebie yourself. Why? So it is unique, different than anything else that is available. You want it to be of great value in the niche . . . which is probably not what you'll find if you go looking for just any freebie online to give away. Additionally, it will give your subscribers an example of your great work. They will see what you know and what you can do for them.

    There are so MUCH verticals in the IM niche!

    What will you be selling, what's your USP?

    Moreover, harvesting "freebies" from all over the place, especially in that market, to give away to a list is not very much productive as a "marketing tactic" it creates confusion in subscribers mind as of where you want to go exactly.

    You must create a specific path for your subscriber to follow and nothing is less confusing and more efficient as much as if it is YOUR own content created for a specific PURPOSE.

      yeah, better to get 1 on target freebie of [immensely] high value
      than confuse everyone with non-USP related crap from free download sites.

      One of the best on target freebie i ever saw [for affiliate marketers]
      was a software where you put in your 3 affiliate network links
      then the software crawled the net for products and build a complete
      fully functioning affiliate website in a few minutes. Now that guys' subscribers
      got something they actually can use in real life - and he can upsell them
      on traffic and list building...etc. Very well-thought out concept.

    make your freebie speak to your overall message..

    but don't give everything away, there will be nothing left to sell..

    I think you can't get free stuff from another source; you take initiative on it and give it yourself. However, it is always best if the freebie you are going to offer has relevance with the product/service you just sold.
