Hello everyone, i am new to the warrior forum. I have been doing email marketing for a while now, and i still continue to build my list using ppc and solo ads once in a while. I have been doing alot searching around for reliable ezine solo ads. I have came across Charlie Page's Directory Of Ezines 2.0. Is anybody using this source and having any success with it? I'm just trying to find a steady reliable source that i can trust. I have used the search box on here.. but i didnt really find a whole lot of information i was looking for.. some of the threads were old from 2010 and i know a lot of things change over time.

I buy solos ads all the time and have huge success with them. Then again, I'm in the niche that they work the best for, which is "biz opp/mmo/IM sofwtare & tools/blogging/WP plugins."

As far as ezines go, I think they are pretty much a thing of the past. I know that product was very successful, but I think it's an older product now and you should check to see whether it's been updated in the last 5 years.

I have around 75-100 good sellers that I buy from, that I found through Facebook solo ad groups. I tried a lot of different sellers in the three years since I've been using solos, and a lot of them stunk. However, a lot of them are awesome, and those are the ones I continue to use.

My main subscriber base comes from solos. I buy anywhere from 5000-10,000 clicks a month and that results in anywhere from 2000-4500 new subscribers per month.

Some people like solo ads and some don't. As I said, they work best for certain niches, and those are the ones that revolve around people starting online businesses and making money online and people wanting to learn how to profit from Internet Marketing.

It's very difficult to find solo sellers who sell clicks outside of that niche. For instance, you'd be hard pressed to find a solo ad vendor for a niche like "scrapbooking" or "cat training."

Again, as far as the ezines go I don't think are near as popular as they once were.

Maybe you should contact the product vendor and ask a few questions.

Thank you very much for your replies.. I do buy solo ads from vendors in the biz opp/and mmo niche, i usually go with some vendors on udimi and clickonomy. But i Did figure there might be a good chance that if i buy an ezine solo ad within that niche i might have success. But as far as facebook testimonials go.. i've heard great things about it and i think i'm gonna go for that. Maybe someday i'll try out the directory of ezines by charlie page and give it a try.. i guess that is the only way i'm going to know if its worth it or not =] lol. the price tag just scares me. But nicheblogger i'm going to take your advice and contact the product owner and ask some questions.. probably the smartest thing i can do before i jump right in and pay $200 dollars for the membership..
