How to promote your digital products on budget

Hey,

There are many sellers out there, who have some sort of downloadable product and they wanna sell it to the world. Whether it's an eBook, a course, or anything in between, creating it is a hard thing to to. But promotion and selling is another. So, let's explore some options here to maximize profit.

1. Where to sell

- Social media (niche FB groups and sell directly on your FB page, niche Twitter profiles, etc.)
- Marketplaces (Tradebit, Sellfy, Payloadz, etc.)
- Kindle sites (free mini version, with an inside promo to your full version or a course)
- RSS feeds (indirect promotion through blog articles)
- Marketing automation services (nope, I won't spam with my solution)

2. How to sell

- Notify your subs and readers, offer a discount for the first 100 buyers, etc.
- Offer a discount for sharing and liking, etc.
- Give exclusive bonuses and extras, such as a free email course, vip deals, etc.
- Upsell like a madman (stash 2-3 aff links inside, offer a course, etc.)

Sure, there are plenty of other ways to promote and sell your digital goodie, but I'm too lazy to list them all. So, why don't you add some of your own? Thanks and have a nice day!

By far the two most effective traffic techniques for selling my ebooks are:

    1. Affiliates - especially the ones I actively go out and find closely aligned with my market and work with to properly promote my ebook

    2. My own organic content campaigns (videos YouTube, blog posts with syndication through social on Facebook and Twitter (Instagram ramping) that have been built over the last couple of years)

Ads are a close 3rd, don't run them all the time, but quite frequently through the year - produce very well when I tune a campaign and put the time in to optmizing
