Can you submit to Ezinearticles AND Web 2.0 (Hub, Squidoo, etc.)?

I know you can submit articles to EZA that you post on your own sites first. My question is, can you do this with Web 2.0 sites? In other words, can I post an article on my Hubpage or Squidoo lens, and then submit it to EZA?

No 'guesses' please...

Thanks,

Mark

Yes, but if the content gets indexed and EZA finds it on the 2.0 you might have to prove you are the author...

      Thanks Jeremy,

I meant to add "with proper attribution" in my post.

I've had problems with EZA where they've suspended my account before with "We've found your submission attributed to another author" even though it was on my own site AND attributed with a byline (in each time, they reversed the suspension after emailing them about their mistake).

Since you CAN submit stuff on your own site, but CAN'T submit stuff submitted elsewhere, Web 2.0 sites seemed like a gray area to me.

I appreciate your reply - I was hoping from an answer from someone like you!

I got this on Tue, Sep 1, 2009 at 1:47 PM
    From: newsletter (at) ezinearticles.com

"Ensure your EzineArticles author name matches the author name on articles posted on other sites. An author name mismatch will flag the article for ripped or suspect content."

    Hope That Helps

      Thanks Jeff,

Interestingly, the last time that happened, the article had my identical author name bolded right below the headline.

FWIW, since that was the *third* time they had done that in about 8 weeks - and each time, it took weeks for them to respond and all my articles in the queue just sat gathering dust - I emailed them, nicely but firmly, but also cc'd Chris Knight. Next day I received an apology and account returned to it's former status.
