the Buyers only buy on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.... WHY?

I am running a product in an obscure niche and have built a list of over 8,000 in the last year.

I recently changed it to a membership site with an ongoing monthly billing.

I used to get sales 24/7 but, since switching to the membership model, all of my new sales are concentrated on 3 days... Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Does anyone have any idea why this would happen?

Also, any ideas on how to make my subscribers THINK it's Tueday Wednesday or Thursday even though its not?? LOL:p

Appreciate the comments in advance.

Very interesting. I would guess that it's due to a particular behavior pattern shared in your niche.

You say it's an obscure niche? Well, just for example, let's say your market is werewolves. In this case your sales will be limited to daylight hours and you won't get any sales at all when there's a full moon!

I know it's unlikely to be werewolves but I hope you get the idea!

Or... it may just be a statistical glitch that will soon even out. For a while I could swear that my customers preferred Fridays. But over time it evened out.

I have thought it would even out but for the last month or so, since I made the change - sales are just on those 3 days. On weekends, I don't even get any order form impressions - figure that out.

The niche is making homemade wine so the moon phase or day or night (as far as I know anyway) doesn't really effect it.

It comes down to pure speculation: Wine drinkers tend to be gregarious so they're out and about and socializing Friday through Sunday. Monday's a catch-up day at work, leaving the middle of the week for indulging their hobby on the web.

i can't make your cusotmers think its tuesday, wed,or thursday...

but have you tried a special promotion on the days that you are not getting sales? maybe if you do an "unadvertised" promotion to your list only and tell them they got 24-48 hours to order with the discount you can up sales temporarily?

Yes - I have tried it and have gotten a few on weekends - but only if I offer tons of free bonuses AND a discount. Out of a list of 7k, I can get 3 or 4 sales with this kind of promotion. it is frustrating!

do you offer a free 7/14/30 day trial? Or a free offer, like a lot of free-continuity programs do and send a physical product? Or possibly a $1 free trial?

Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday are the only days they're sober and not hung over.

Try using a larger font on the salespage on those other days for those having trouble focusing.
