Just curious about this. If you are promoting a product through Clickbank, do they allow you to see the referrers of where your affiliates are driving their traffic from?

Savvy affiliates DON'T set things up so that the merchants can see
how they are driving most of the traffic. They know that some merchants would merely cut them out of the picture and tap into that traffic source, eliminating the need to pay those commissions. If have numerous friends that this is happened to. Very short-sighted on the part of the merchants... several of whom went out of business shortly thereafter when irritated affiliates promoted competing products... and engaged in negative publicity campaigns against merchants who stabbed them in the back. You can't see where the traffic is coming from in your Clickbank account.
You can however check your website stats and see where it comes from. |
