Setup autoresponder before ppc traffic?

I have a 1 page site with 1 article, privacy policy, and a landing page created with leadpages. I intend on bing ppc campaigns > landing page > 3 page report leadmagnet > thank you page with a recommendation and link to a clickbank product. I will make different landing pages (maybe on a new domain) for each campaign I run. Question is...

Should I setup an autoresponder series before starting a bing ppc? What's peoples expectations when they subscribe to a landing page? Do they expect to start receiving content with some marketing thrown in right away?

Or do I wait a few days before starting an email campaign?

You are on the right path but do not sell to them immediately. Build trust first before selling to them. Basically landing page with lead magnet> thank you page, thanking and instructing them to check their email for the lead magnet> welcome email with lead magnet>more emails> sale email. I hope this helps

You should wait a few days before starting an email campaign. Because first try to realize the traffic behavior. Also when you drive traffic from bing you should use landing page with any tracking software. Neither you will not get a winning campaign.

Yes you would want to set up your auto responders.

As stated above - don't market to them straight away but rather just send them a few QUALITY relevant emails this will build trust. Then hit them with your offer!

Sweeten them up a bit ha!!

But yes, set up the autoresponders first. You want the whole process to be as streamlined as possible.

    I hope this helps

Yeah, you should set up your
    autoresponder.

    But do it smart,
    Give them value and
    Combined it to sell.

Try to make it as smooth
    as you can.

Maybe in the first one, give some Value without
selling but I prefer to combine it together.

Yes you should but it doesnt have to be a month long email series just yet

What's peoples expectations when they subscribe to a landing page?

they expect value, dont confuse that with free stuff only.. "value" is WHATEVER helps solve the reason they're on your list in the first place

Do they expect to start receiving content with some marketing thrown in right away?

dont talk about marketing like its a spoon full of codfish liver oil... people like to be marketed to, think about movie trailers at the theater. I love watching those.. Market to them and provide value..

Or do I wait a few days before starting an email campaign?

Hell, i start on the thank you page. soon as you can! You can even sell to them within the lead magnet.

Final note: ...get your squeeze page (keyword optimized for a better quality score), lead magnet and thank you page all worked out

and just put in 5 emails into your series to give yourself some time to test the front end conversion rate on bing.

Don't be afraid to market to them on your thank you page or in your lead magnet and dont hesitate to chat with a BING rep anytime you have a question:

You can start with a few pre-written emails and set into your autoresponder (say 4-5 emails). Then keep adding the follow-up emails when you have time, eg 1 email per day.

Follow-up emails is important so don't ignore it. As always, build the relationship with the subscribers, establish yourself and show them you are someone genuine and sincerely want to help them, not just interested at their money. Once the trust established, your email open & clickthrough rates will improve, so will your sales conversion.

You should have to build a trust and provide value with them first before any product recommendations... so an autoresponder is a must before starting any campaigns.

What do people expect when they sign up on a landing page?

Whatever you led them to expect.

If you promised them a free report, your first email should give them access to that report and set the stage for the next email. And so on.

While it's okay to lead with a freebie or two, you do not want people to start expecting nothing but free stuff from you. It's kind of like befriending a girl you really want to date. You could find yourself hopelessly mired in the "friend zone", with much the same angry, hurt reaction when you try for that first kiss...

Back to your original question. Yes, you should have at least a rudimentary AR sequence set up before sending visitors to your landing page.

Setting up a autoresponder would be a great idea.

It allows you to automate your emails so you can focus on other things, like driving traffic, etc.

But don't try to sell immediatly, give some value first.

Send them a "welcome mail" and some "free gifts" before selling.

You definitely not sell some stuff on first welcome email. The whole point of mailing list is to start an audience. They're waiting for useful/informative info from you.

You can test this: start selling from day one, see how many unsubscribe.

My autoresponder just has a welcome message, and usually gives some free advice/ebook or something else at no-cost so that people have motivation to stay on the list.

Personally, I don't start marketing anything for a week afterwards, but that's just my preference.

Yes i agree with all the Answers here.

If anybody gets a Solution to a Problem that they are searching for...

They could found that in the Landing page, so obviously they will subscribe to get the Solution to their problem.

Later We can Give them some Scenario and give solution to those. But it can be for Free.

The subscriber Should feel Worth on spending time in reading our mail.

So that in later days we can sell products to them.
