Offering a Rebate When Purchasing Through Your Link

I've heard about using this technique to increase affiliate sales. What's the best way to implement it?

I currently have a review of a niche product on the first page of Google for "product" and "product review". It's a bit early to say how conversions are going now, but I thought to improve with a rebate offer.

I think you typically want to tell them to contact you after 60 days (to avoid them getting it refunded) with their paypal transaction number and so on. But how do you set this up on the page? Just give an email address? A contact form? Does anyone do this and want to show me an example.

Love,
Shannon

I have used this method in the past but can't find the exact template I used. This is the closest I could find:

This Is How I Did It

    Hope this helps,

    Thanks!

I also poked my nose around and was surprised to find some PLR that relates to this niche, so I think I'm going to make a bonus package from them (assuming that they're any good.)

Yeah, I don't do rebates. Only bonuses.

Just as a heads up, make sure you don't violate any affiliate terms and conditions. Some place don't allow cash incentives, only added bonuses. And some places allow no incentives.

For the places that allow it, definitely use it to your advantage to increase conversions. A lot of buyers won't even go through the extra "work" to apply for your rebate, so even better on your part.

I've used rate rebates with great success. I've never been able to understand why some vendors don't like it. It's a perfect solution especially for those high priced items

Clickbank has banned this now I believe.

Thanks! You're right. I just found this in Clickbank. You can give out other bonuses though.
