Publisher,Advertiser In Different Continent

Hi,

I have a question on affiliate marketing via my website.

I live in Canada. I am a Canadian and would like to promote a product/service that's in UK, is this possible ?
If I explain this a bit more in detail, for example, I am promoting (just for example) London Tube Oyster Card targeting the UK residents and my website is registered as .CA and my company is registered in Canada.

Do I have to go through any legal process in order to do this ? As long as I have a paypal account the Advertiser can deposit my commissions into it , am I right ? Please explain.

    I'm in the UK and promote products from companies in the USA and Canada...

    ..now I don't know the laws of your country, but I frequently have to sign W8 tax forms.. which are provided by the companies I work with.

    It also applies when payments are made via PayPal.

    So I assume there will be an equivalent form, from the UK for you to sign.

    Talk to the company, your accountant or your lawyer about it.. and don't take what I've said here as gospel.
