Would a membership social media site work?

If there was a site teaching people how to get work in social media or make a career out of it, do you think it would do well?

I'm in the process of creating a membership site that gives downloads, tips, tricks, and so on about becoming a social media specialist. There also would be a forum for members to interact with each other.

Think its worth it? I figured I'd look to my fellow warriors for advice on this one.

Would this work?!!! No one knows until you give it a fair try and time to prove,
so i would say go for it!

Well I may also add that to promote your Membership site you should also have
your own Blog covering this topic and current news in Social Media..so that brings
credibility to your whole business model....

Also do not forget to check the banner rates at top Social Media Blogs run by
enthusiasts to advertise your Membership course there...
