This is NOT the Copy Writing Forum

Well that about says it.

I just clicked on the main forum and there are posts all over the place asking where to find a copy writer. Um....have you looked in the "COPY WRITING" forum? Or how bout the "Warriors for Hire" forum?

You are now in the MAIN forum. We talk about making money here - not about where to find contractors. It's time to start flagging posts for copy writers to be deleted or moved. I'm sure going to.

Geesh.

I only see 2 threads asking for copy to be written - Well, one definitely asking for copy to be written, the other just a general "how much" type of question...

Either way though, we are all moderators

Part of the problem is the common confusion about what a copywriter does -- at least some of these people are really looking for article writers, even though they say they want a copywriter.

Whenever someone posts a thread in the Copywriting Forum looking for an article writer, the thread gets bounced over here, because there really isn't any other place for it. We could use a "Want to Hire Warriors" section to go along with the Warriors For Hire area.

A "Want to Hire" section would be great. Also, maybe put subsections along the following lines:

        Want to Hire:
        Content Creation
        Design
        SEO / Traffic Generation
        Coding/Programming

Those big areas should pretty much cover most situations.

Allen makes money from the For Hire area. It's not likely that people are going to pay to advertise for a writer. Hell half of em still think you can get real writers for 2 bucks an article, lol. Let the content writers advertise like anyone else.

Bouncing the requests over here doesn't make sense. Why would someone buy an content writer ad if they can just look in here? Meanwhile, the Main forum looks like an advertising board.

There were more than 2 a minute ago and I've seen several more in the last few days - yes we are all mods.......And being that writers pay for ads for their services in other forums here, it's not right for people to continually come in here and just post for them.

I will be doing my part to moderate those posts from here on in. I am hoping others will as well.

If you need work - pay for your ad like everyone else does. If you need workers, make it worth the ad posters bucks and get your contractors from the right forums.

you seem to be right. Only a small part of the forum has copy writing stuff. Bad point to waste time discussing though

It's not the Adsense, PPC, SEO Forum either but
that doesn't stop folks from posting threads in
here because they "won't get as much exposure"
    in the SEO forum.

Guess what.. Not using the SEO forum is WHY it's
not as busy as you'd like!

P.S. Sal, thanks for the opportunity to rant, that
    one's been simmering for a while. ;-)
