Promoting your resources page

I have created a resources page with a ton of free content and some paid (my own and affiliate links). I was going to promote it with a fb boosted post . Do you guys thinks it makes sense to do this?

the guy below does something similar and claims his making a killing.

      That's about 3.2% of his "fans" that bothered to watch the video. Of those, how many took the next step - visiting his resource page? And from there, how many take the next step and actually click through and buy something that pays him?

      Those are the metrics that matter, not number of fans or video views (unless he's getting a CPM deal on the video, too).

      Boosting a post to see if the numbers work is a cheap test. Worth a try.

    People have been running these things forever. It works if you can compete with the tens of thousands of other people doing the same thing.

      I feel it would work better if you pick a good niche to focus on. He says he makes 10k a year.

    Like anything else, It can be done, but not as easy as most people would think.

    To maximise the success rate, it would be good if you have a blueprint or learn from someone who has done it, rather than try by error and playing the guessing games.
