Driving Traffic to Squeeze Pages Using Paid Traffic

I could really do with some advice on who to use to drive traffic to my squeeze pages please.
My experience up to now is with SEO and organic traffic and was always a bit nervous with Paid traffic in the past, but if I want to test things and have more control over results I know paid is a must to master.

4 years ago I got suspended from Google Adwords for direct linking to Clickbank after following the Google cash method and have never been able to get that account back. I tried communications with them again just the other day with no luck, so that seems a lost cause now.

Can anybody suggest what networks are good especially for a beginner at this and maybe a good guide to follow so I can fully understand the process and not get burnt.

I want to build my list then create offers further down the line. I wanted to actually do this with YouTube Ads only to realize that it was also Adwords so a non starter. I heard that clicks were relatively cheap there.

Any thoughts on Bing?

If anybody has any suggestions I would appreciate it thanks

    Hi there,

    I think bing ppc is good for driving traffic. I have tried and got very nice results.
    You may also try buysellads, clicksor, adknowledge, media.net. These are good paid advertising networks.

    I would go with Bing. Adwords is very expensive nowadays for the Search Engine itself though, as you say, YT ads are cheaper.
    Also look at Facebook ads and retargeting.

    Whatever you do, start small and test and track everything until you know what converts best.

    I have done direct linking with Bing for Clickbank offers and its fine working for me ..Also the ROI is very high when you use bing with low competition offers from Clickbank.Also Bing is not that strictas Adwords and FB ads

    I love bing for lead building. My average lead cost on Bing is under 60 cents. You can go out and buy the same type of traffic and pay anywhere from 1.50 to 3 per lead from something like a solo ad for example... This is highly targeted buyer traffic and I am only paying 5 cents per click. Again try and get those numbers from solo ad traffic source. You not. Plus with this traffic I am in full control. I can run and get as much of it as I want when I want and not waking up to see I have been slapped again. I lost a $400 per day income from Google and really fast learned not to keep all my eggs in one basket.

    You can use Bing's ad network, which also appears on Yahoo search results. You can also try Facebook's ad network for additional exposure.

    I know what you mean about google adwords, I used them like 8 years ago to do affiliate marketing and were pretty strict then, so I can only imagine how hardcore they are today.

    But even if you choose Bing, they don't allow direct affiliate links in the paid ad network either. You really need to create a landing page and redirect traffic that way.

    Been using Bing for the past few years and they are great in terms of affiliate stuff/promotions, because they are OK with pretty much whatever you want to promote, as long as it's not too dodgy, like pharma, gambling, etc...

    However, the costs are very similar, so don't think that Bing is cheaper than Adwords. Unfortunately, eventhough your ads also appear on Yahoo, the search volume of Bing/Yahoo for any keyword is significantly less compared to Google - keep that in mind.

    In terms of usability, if you know PPC, then there's nothing special about Bing. If you know Adwords, then Bing is roughly the same.

    Do some research on broad-match modified keywords, as I found bidding on them gives me a lot of relevant traffic and I can filter unnecessary stuff into negatives quite easily.

    Bing works better than AdWords for IMs. AdWords policies require that if they as you to edit the landing page you promote that you can. If you can't because it's not your page then you get a lifetime ban. I take calls about that frequently in my day job. Can't say where but it rhymes with moogle bad words.

    If you're looking for PPC Bing is ok. I've had great results with solos too.

    Is it still possible to get cheap targeted clicks with PPC. I was told that you could with YouTube ads at 2c sometimes but as I am suspended from Adwords I cant access that.

      Not sure about YouTube, but on Adwords/Bing the days of $0.02 clicks are gone. Forget about that...

      Obviously, depending on the niche, I think the cheapest you can get nowadays is $0.20-$0.30 - and that's search traffic. For the content network, the clicks will probably be cheaper.

    In fact what is the preferred method of keyword research for 2016?. I used to use long tail pro for article marketing in years gone by.

      Facebook Ads are quite a bit different...Facebook is not a search engine, it's a social network, so you can't really compare it with Bing or Adwords. You could compare Facebook with POF, but in this context let's discuss Bing.

      For keyword research, I like to use Google's keyword tool to get the main keywords and then I use broad-match modified for bidding on Bing. The keyword tool offered by Bing is useless, it shows very limited results and the search volume is often incorrect, so I don't even bother looking up anything on Bing.

      1. Find the main long-tail keywords on Adwords
      2. Create ad groups on Bing with closely related broad-match modified keywords
      3. Get traffic, analyze the search terms in reports, add negatives and keep pushing until you have a clean campaign.

          Basically, it allows you to bid on closely related terms to your main keyword while filtering out the stuff that is too broad. It doesn't work perfect, but as I said, you should always run search reports every day to see what keywords generated clicks and then neg keywords, which are too broad or irrelevant for your campaign.

    It depends on the niche you are IN.

    Facebook is very good to target a specific audience.
    But you can run an outbrain ad campaign.
    There are so many networks.

    I can give you advice on youtube Organic / Trueview ads if you need

    I will say Facebook is the best.

    You might be asking.

    Why Facebook?

    1. Facebook allows you to target anybody from any country and with interests in whatever you promote.

    2. The cost of running an ad is about $5 USD which is the same as what you spend everyday on food, bills and transport. Though that can be customized.

    I for one got started with $1 USD everyday.

    3. Facebook not allows you to run static ads with pictures. But live videos as well. However as I am still learning, I cannot elaborate further on that.

    You can get started by testing on small budget and then let your ad run for 1-2 weeks and see how it goes.

    If it works, you may want to increase your daily budget for more leads and sales.

    If not, just stop running your ad and make changes to your copy.

    Thanks. Facebook will always be an option. Seeing that the CPC is much higher these days, I will definitely need to be catching emails and building a list from my squeeze page. Direct linking may be risky with Bing plus I want to be able to market again later.
    Can anybody recommend and simple beginner guides on Bing and basic sales funnels?. I want to start really small with a Bing campaign and try and capture some emails to which I will market some clickbank products to afterwards. Maybe even CPA.

    Rob, you're almost always better off using a squeeze page first, rather than direct linking (even if it's allowed) because once you're building your list you actually have an asset you can utilise as oppose to JUST sales. Without a list you essentially have no leverage in your chosen marketplace outside of campaigns you have running.
