Hi Turtle, I would check out this link for insight on both sides of the Patent discussion. When Do You Really Need a Patent? Have you discussed this with any trusting ones you know...and if so what has the feedback been? |

yes i have this ideal is in the field i work there is nothing exactly like it some kinda similar but i know this will be a big seller i feel that some of the inmate telephone services will want to buy me out cause this is going to cut into thier profits i wish i knew some resources to contact in how to promote and produce some software. It will be run through a website but a service to jails and to inmates families. it is a winner just hope i can get it right.

I assume that you are talking about the prepaid setup for prisoners to be able to call out. I know there are services that take care of that sort of thing. I think there might be little use in getting a patent (and that is strictly a personal opinion) unless you have a "new" process that involves something physical. If you are needing software created, you should consider checking out some of the outsourcing possibilities. Since I am somewhat a newbie at all this (just 2 years) I have two suggestions on developing your website. 1. If you have the money, again outsource to an expert. 2. If you don't have the money, you need the time. Learn the basic skills that you will need. Carol |
