Hey there, i wanted to ask what you mean by good quality? Just because an ebook is 50 pages or 100 pages, doesn't mean that the quality in the 100 page ebook is better than the 50 page ebook. With that said meaning this, if I would rather read a 50 page ebook that solves my problem faster than read a 100 page ebook filled with fluff and a lot of information that barely scratches the surface. You will find that instead of judging the book by the amount of pages inside of the book, judge it based on the quality of content in the book. I have read many an ebook so far in my internet career and some of the best gems have been found in the shortest books that I have ever read.

You could also do a search under google.com for a plr membership website, there are a ton of them. Also in the warrior wso forum, there are a bunch of warriors offering good quality ebooks as well. It's a great place to start to find good quality ebooks in my opinion, I hope that helps you.

    thnx,

I know that length does not equals (good) value, i personaly sell an ebook of 50 pages wich i wrote myself in my country, and it helps lots off people.
But i want to turn a very good ebook into a physical product, so i need more then 100 pages at least, to print it into a nice book.

So if someone has a good tip, please let me know!

  • Ebooks of that length are very rare. Whatever happens, you're going to have to do some work to get a physical book length product.

    Some options:
    - outsource a product that meets your exact requirements.
    - take multiple ebooks, edit them together to form a longer product.
    - take a single product and add material to it. Bring it up to the length you want.

    Or, any combination of these.

  • Well, maybe you've found a gap in the market and you just have to be the one to commission them?

Just chiming in on the e-book length/quality issue. There's nothing wrong with larger e-books, but because e-books have to be either read on-line or printed out (at cost to the consumer), a lot of e-book writers aim for around 50 pages.

The idea is to not use a lot of extra words - say what needs to be said. Most good e-books these days (unless the author is someone like Stephen King!) are how-tos. They are the electronic relative to and something of a revival of the old "booklets" that were often written by housewives.

I've seen good ones, both long and short. But, I did some heavy editing on the one I just finished because I know that e-book readers don't enjoy eye strain.

Okay... that was just a writer's perspective.

Why PLR, because you will have to make a lot of changes to be able to sell it. Have you looked at the Public Domain area for books in your niche which could be a starting point.
