How to alter tagline and title on my blog

I want to alter the size and color of the title and tagline of my new blog.

Any ideas on how I can do this?

Log into your blog.

On the left-handside column, towards the bottom, you will see a link called "Settings", and under this - Click on "General" and that is form where you can change the Title and Tagline.

With a wordpress blog is usually just as the first reply said in order to edit it

The colour/size of the title and tagline font are usually part of the theme. Does your theme include options for changing them?

The options under settings/general usually just allow you to change the wording of the title and tagline.

I just realized that. I want to alter the size and color of the tagline and title, not just change the wording.

I guess I will need to change the theme, but not sure how to do that.

You should be able to change the color and size from the css files - Appearance/Editor
Don't know how to do it myself, but you could use a WYSIWYG editor like Kompozer and look at the source code, and experiment with the css file. If you mess it up just reupload the file and try again.

Or, maybe someone who does know how to do will modify it for you

Just thought of something, you could also delete the title and tagline of your blog and add the text to the header image using a free program like GIMP. And use the seo all in one plugin to add the title and description to your meta tags.
