INTERNET MARKETING

Hey Warriors,

Have a video question. How can I get a video that I created to show a specific part of the video before some hits play.

In other words, I want the company logo to be shown when someone sees the video before hitting the play button.

Your help will greatly be appreciated it.

There are many video players out there with different options

The one I use and like in Monkeyplayer....but there are many others

  Thanks for your reply, but I think I wasn't able as the question right or I am totally in the dark.
  
  What I'm trying to do is I have created a video which will be posted on Facebook, YouTube, etc.. but the section of where the video is shown before it is played is not where I want to be, its sort of like a crap shoot whenever I do a video, hoping it will land on a good spot.

yea, its called a thumbnail.

i have had access to this feature on YT for some time now..

I believe its available to anyone who open a YT account these days. I could be mistaken,,,

however, to create an amazing thumbnail easily and for free.. go to canva and click on 'more options' then look for youtube thumbnails

Oh...so yes...it sounds like the thumbnail is what your talking about

I actually use a software program called "Insta Thumbnail" to create custom thumbnails
for all my videos...it makes a BIG difference

...and Paz is correct.....youtube has the ability for you to use any thumbnail you like or create

Thanks for replying, I appreciate it,

So the thumbnail through Youtube, will I be able to post videos in Facebook or anywhere else using this feature or must I use it only for videos posted on YouTube

but if you upload your vid on FB then you have to use their platform..

i forget if they have a thumbnail option but i imagine they do.

There are many video players and video editors in the market by which you can solve your problem.If editing is not that much you can use vlc player .

To use custom thumbnails in YT, you may need to phone verify the channel or monetize it, I can't remember for sure.

FB doesn't have a custom thumbnail feature that I'm aware of...I believe they use the frame that's exactly in the middle of the video as the thumb, but again I'm not sure about this. You may want to add your company logo as a "watermark" to the middle 10 seconds or so of the video and see if that works.

Hi,
Yes the others have the right answer. Get yourself a customized thumbnail. To be able to do that you need to have your channel verified by YouTube.
I usually use PowerPoint to create a thumbnal as I want including with my logo. Then I do a screen shot of it. Right click - modify image and trim to get it right. Then when the video has finished to upload you have the optin to choose a thumbnail proposition from YT or upload your custom one. There you have it!

If you want a want to make custom thumbnails for free, lately I've been using a tool called Canvas. I find a relevant image related to the topic of my video, and just put some text over it.

I made a tutorial a while back on my blog that walks you through how to do this: How To Make Thumbnails For YouTube For FREE! -

Could you please to use the Customs Thumbnails? I am sure if you know how to use this customs Thumbnail, you will get your solution. Such as if you upload a video in Youtube, here there is an option to use the customs Thumbnail. Thanks for your advance.

  Yes, for YouTube you need to get verified, but I think you need a certain amount of views if I read correctly.
