Need to help my friend! Is Hubspot Partnership Program the right thing for him!
Got an email from one of my friends and ex-colleagues. He decided that he won't be a freelancer any longer. Good for him. As you will see from his email, this isn't exactly my thing. I'm not an agency and I'm not interested. Yet, I would like to help. I already advised him to sign up here, but he's completely lost and I don't blame him. Here are the relevant parts of his email. Launched a small agency for web design and digital marketing. Making my first independent steps. It is not easy, that is for sure. Checking out my competition. Trying to catch up the best I can with a limited budget and very few clients, of course.
Something one of competitors did recently attracted my attention. This agency is a proud Hubspot certified partner. I am not and I do not claim to be an expert in this field, but I really did know you need a certificate. I am familiar with the concept of inbound marketing, but I do not see a point for my competitor to wave this certificate on his website like it is a flag.
I am not a lazy guy. I already checked the Hubspot official page. But, besides the general info you can achieve this and that with our certificate, I could not find much relevant info. There is a form for new partners. I submitted my company contact info and some additional info they required. Waiting to hear from them.
While waiting, I thought it could be a good idea to hear some second opinion here. It goes without saying that I will need to invest some time and money here to get this certificate. For a newbie, this can mean a lot. No question about it. Right now every minute and dollar I can spend and invest really count for me. Just like for any company out there. I get it.
Yet, is it really going to be worth of all the trouble and most importantly money? Please, do not say, if you know what to do with it, you will be able to benefit from your investment pretty soon.
