Do you use a VA? What do you get them to do?

I use a VA for my business - I only really get her to do basic tasks like admin including:
- Research tasks
- Admin
- Filling in information in tables from info she can find on the web
Not really ground breaking stuff but things that save me a lot of time.
I've got a few issues with trusting a VA from another country to do too much in case I leave myself open to breaches in intellectual property and even security.
What do you get your VA to do for you?
I pay mine $7 USD per hour - so I'm not sure if there is a basis for defining the level of experience there as well.
