HELP: Make XsitePro2 Sites Ping Pages Like Wordpress Sites??

Does anyone know how I can make my XsitePro2 built sites ping their pages like self-hosted Wordpress sites do everytime I create or update a page? Sites like that have the little RSS icon in the browsers url address bar. Is there a simple way to do that within Xsitepro2?

Thanks for taking the time to respond but I am looking for (hoping for!) something within the actual program suitable for a non-techie like myself. XsitePro2 does so much stuff by just clicking a few buttons here and there that I am hoping it can do this for me too. I just haven't figured it out yet and can't find anything about it in the user manual.

If it's not built into the software it's not built in. Hoping won't change that. XSitePro is not a blogging platform.

Well no kidding dude, but XsitePro2 is an extremely powerful program that has tons of features that aren't fully covered in the basic user manual.

Hi Steve

I'm not sure whether there's such a feature in XSitePro2 - you can set up an RSS feed very simply by using one of the right-click options, but you probably knew that.

I've always used a script similar to those Kelly suggested, but I do recall a thread from a couple of months back which described a very easy copy and paste method to ping any site. If you missed it, you should check this out:
