Will the IoT affect the way we do IM?
I've got one client who is an inventor of very cool marine technology. Most of my clients are fairly traditional and have shop fronts and are pretty much SME's so this guy is a really interesting character to me.
I have been working with him for a few years now and he was the first person that I have dealt with that was involved with the Internet of Things.
It is clear that this holds huge opportunities for businesses who want to bring their technical capabilities to the next level, but do you think it will negatively or positively affect the way we do IM?
While change is good, I am interested what you think and whether the IoT is something we need to be more prepared for an offer additional services / solutions to ensure we grow with this technology.
I know Nike, Google and ASICS are all well and truly using it and I wonder what it means for IM.
