I have a great website and 50,000 followers - what can I sell on it

I have around 50,000 followers on Twitter (it is more of a political account) and I have a website that tells the story of how I lost 40 lbs by eating burgers (really, it's high protein). I also have around $13,000 freed up to put into any type of advertisement.

I put adsense on it and I can get some traffic from Twitter when I tweet out. However, I'm thinking sense I have have a great setup - what would be the best thing to sell on my website - relating to diet. My website informational of how I lost the weight and how I am maintaining of my current weight - but when it comes to really monetize the website, not sure what type of products to sell.

I'm thinking about using FB ads since weight loss does really well in this type of format. So if you were me, what would you think about doing?

    How much traffic are you currently getting from your weight loss website?

    I would suggest to start off with a simple digital product such as an Ebook. You could write a detailed account of how you've lost weight, the time frames, any exercise or other details such as how you stayed motivated.

    Include something that sets your Ebook apart from others, add a little something extra such as a food diary template or meal planning template - something that your readers can use.

    I would also sell this on the Amazon Kindle store.

    If successful, you could move on to writing a 6-book dieting programme with more templates, videos and more detailed information on how the diet works and why to choose this diet to up the $. Make sure you've covered your basis legally, though. Most dietary and exercise products will do this Eg. If you feel unwell see a doctor immediately etc...

    If you have got any decent amount of traffic to your health related website then you can go for the weight loss products for sale and make an advertising by the use of your FB and Twitter accounts!

    Oh yeah - I have a big ole disclaimer on every page. This is really a story of how I did it - that's it.

    Organically - I'm getting nothing. I have about seven pages though - that's it. However, my articles are between 800 - 1400 words. So I need to get writing more.

    Good idea about writing an e-book.

    I just need more time. Right now, I have a full time job working in IT - and I'm studying web development on the side. So I need to make some time in order to make this work.

    if you go to their site and click on science of diet, this actually links to a paid product of theirs


    Very interesting way of doing it I think! Low price and awesome content!
