A Solution for Information Overload???

I enjoy getting the latest and greatest product offerings by email, but my email box is becoming so clogged with emails, especially when there is a new product launch, and 50 affiliates send me an email on the same product! I am considering deleting that email account and starting over with a new one, but I was wondering...

Does anyone know of a website that summarizes the new products and product launches for the week so I can get my email under control? I enjoy reading the ad copy, looking at and occasionally buying that irresistible offer, but I am not enjoying the email volume.

Thanks,
Mickey

Mickey you might like to check out Mike Mograbi's
    Internet Marketing News Watch

From what you've said it could be what you're
    looking for.

Having suggested his service I would add......

I use Gmail for much of my email traffic and if the
Affiliate is high profile I don't delete them because
along with promotions I get valuable content I use
in my ongoing learning. If they are lightweight I
    unsubscribe.

    Hope that was helpful.

I would suggest using a seperate email account for signing up to newsletters. This will keep them out of your regular inbox.

Be careful with the buying, too! It won't make you money if you don't pick something and make it work for you. I have a good free report about this in my signature

I agree with Ken, about an email for that purpose and using Internet Marketing News Watch.
I have a 3 e-mail accounts with my provider accts
    6 g-mail
    2 yahoo
    6 hotmail and windowlive accts
They all have their jobs. Also the content in most is valuable to use for other projects.

I Agree with the email solutions above, especially the gmail suggestion.

I have a lot of gmail accounts but I use primarily one of them for everything. After I learned how to use filters and labels (sort of like folders) managing hundreds and even thousands of emails in one account is easy.

As soon as a new marketer starts to send me emails I just create a filter that sends all of his emails to either his label or the general advertising label.

All my family email goes to family label. Friends to friends etc.

You don't even have to use the label feature. Simply click all and archive all, then use the search feature to find anything.

There are a lot of different ways, however, gmail is the solution.

      Stop buying crap.

Seriously, that is it. And plan for 30 minutes of reading a day.

Unsubscribe to any newsletter that doesn't give you good content. If they pitch they get ditched.

Hey George thanks a ton for the tip on filters and labels, I shall set that up. Never really got into that but if it's like folders I totally get it now.

I also agree with Tim that you can easily unsubscribe to newsletters that you normally don't read or don't get any use out of for you style. I had a cleaning house a few months ago and kept what I find useful.

I will say though mmixon, on a big launch day read all of the emails. For 2 reasons.
        1) Check them out for content and style/bonuses for your own learning purposes for your future mailings.
        2) Some will give you some kick ass content in addition to the pitch and you may find a new favorite email to open when you get it.

Discipline is the key here. Commit yourself to specific time during which only you will go through the mails.

If strongly tempted for a product, it is always best to search around for reviews of what others has to say about it.

As for the mails in your inbox, if you have subscribed to experienced marketers, the mails become a learning opportunity, or case study sort of, for you to learn, as to how they are composing the mails, for your own list marketing.
