Best way to monetize a classified ad site? Anyone?

I've got a niche site I'm starting, a classified ad style website. It is purely non-IM, so there are certain things I can't do to monetize the site. It will, unfortunately, be a lower traffic niche - so I have to have a fairly high ARPU.

For those of you who have experience in running a consumer niche classified site, what is the best way to monetize the service?
