Help me warriors

Dear all,

I'm Bo. I'm 19. And I will become a freshman student at Central Washington University this fall. Oh, yes, I am an international student - meaning the price for me is about 3-4x the regular price.

I need to pay a total of $27,000 for 3 quarters at CWU.

Luckily, in March this year, I won a prestigious scholarship totaling $40,000 over the course of 4 years. Meaning I need to pay "only" $17,000 per year - not bad, much better than the previous result. I think I could manage the first year.

About 60 of us won that same scholarship.

Unfortunately, about a month ago, the McKelvey Foundation (the scholarship foundation) emailed us all telling us how they can't find the money to fund our education because of some "legal matters" with the original funder's real estate (who passed away, btw).

Now I'm stuck - I'm already due $8,500 for the first quarter, which I can afford (though barely). But then what?

Help out please

Any kind of info would be much appreciated!

Start affiliate marketing online (sell others products for a commission).In the warrior forum you will find lots of useful information.

Many people who have lost their day jobs have started a small business online and for many it pays more than the regular day job did.It takes time and effort though.

First of all congratulation on being accepted in a US university and that too on a scholarship. Sad to hear that you won't be getting that (Well earned) free ride though.

With that said, can you please explain as to how much time you have on your watch to come up with the extra $8500??

Affiliate marketing is a nice option but that would depend on the available time and resources at your end. Moreover can you elaborate your expertise, if any, in doing any of the online work?

Most have suggested Internet Marketing as the answer, however, many don't make it in Internet Marketing and many who DO make it, often don't make it for a year or two.

Many students work their way through college and if IM doesn't fulfill your financial needs in your timeframe you may want to consider a real job to meet your educational needs until the scholarship problem gets ironed out ...if it ever does.

As previously said very few people step into internet marketing and make it. In fact the vast majority fail.

Not to say that you will; but you need to recognize making quick cash is very hard unless you already have a very good knowledge of some area or already have an active list.

Since you sound smart, and obviously are, try writing articles for people. If you're a native English speaker and feel you can write well than there's no reason you can't make $100+ a day if you put the time in.

Bo, if you can spare just $14 out of your college fund, I know where you can buy a review site that will make you thousands on Clickbank...

If your sig is legit, why not keep a few of these killer review sites for yourself and watch the money roll in?

If that doesn't work out for you, there's always the traditional route. Use a combination of a job, financial aid and student loans like everyone else did.

Folks, I feel I haven't been quite clear. I have some $10,000+ in my college savings, which I had all earned through internet marketing. I am an internet marketer. Making money online is my only source of income. Yes, it's nice that I have $10,000 in my account, but we're speaking of three times as much, almost $30,000 ...

Now what?

Is IM working? YES
Do may fail? YES
Is there money out there? YES.....lots
Can it be done fast? YES

I can get indexed in Google within 2 hours and get on the first or second page.....all automated.

PPC......does it work? YES
Clickbank is still #1 for making money fast.

I'm on the internet since 1998 and it is my fulltime job (20 hours LOL).
Can I help? YES......BH or WH your choice. BH is cloaking, the Fantomaster way....just takes more time ;0)

You can and WILL get there. Just stay focused and get past all the CR*P.

If you have made $10,000 using your own methods then you are the best person to solve your problem - a lot of people struggle to make a $100. You need to focus on a way to get 3 times as much profit from your efforts!

Why not use that $10,000 to advertise - eg Adwords?

Learn IM and do it until you make enough steady $ to quit your job.

Triple your efforts?

$10,000 is more then 90% of people who try will make in IM, so it looks like you know the basics.

Sorry, but you don't seem sincere, since you haven't even mentioned what your "willing" to do instead.

Then there's always Bartending or waiting tables ... worked for me.

Bo, I think you grasped the irony of your original post/sig combo, since you've changed the sig.

If you're determined that IM is the only option, you need to scale up what's working for you. To do that, you may have to dip into your $10k and hire some of the grunt work done for you.

Another option is to take out the student loans and pay them back as quickly as possible from your IM efforts.

You can apply for other scholarships, get a loan to buy some time. Take advantage of the list of your current customers, offer them some related products...

Hi Bo,

I saw in your sig where you have your own flipping forum. I'd start advertising the heck out of it using videos, articles, and other advertising (paid included). Then I'd offer an incentive by allowing the first say 100 or so people (or for the first couple of months to everybody who signs up) post free of charge that want to flip/post a site.

While that is going on, write a couple of different reports (good size), or even look for a couple of affiliate products related to site or domain flipping, and give them out free as a new sign up bonus. If you start getting new people registering and good traffic, you could even charge a subscription fee for something like a charter member, and turn that part of it into a pay per year membership where they can post free in the auction (BS&T) area on a perminant bases - no limit per year. You can also add stuff in a member's area too for these members like new reports on various subjects, video tutorials, maybe some PLR articles you wrote or had ghost written, small scripts, etc ...

You could also add some affiliate products to that forum in plain view in a sidebar. Build the forum up, then use it as a hub also. It's a perfect veihicle for it, then funnel your traffic from the forum to other sites/blogs, or do it in reverse where you feed that forum.

If you don't have an autoresponder, I'd get one, and run a newsletter where people sign uip separate from the forum. This way you don't have problems with your hosting company. Then give those people great content, and sell to them.

What I'm saying is you can have a good residual income stream with that forum if you get people to it, for years to come. Some of those forum memberships bring in several K per month or whatever you set it up as.

Hust some food for thought ...

Well drastic times call for drastic decisions.

You mentioned that you are an international student, so why not go back to your country and start there? When things are better or the foundation has money you can always come back.

You can also start at a community college, the fees will be way lower. Attend two years and then transfer, which will allow you to make and save money to pay for the last two years.

Easy.

If you are into IM already then you probably have produced your own product at least once - right?

Go to a JV website and set up a launch with some other JV partners - or go to a JV broker and re-market/re-package your product.

If you don't have a product - MAKE ONE. You can do that in about 4 days and it CAN be very high quality (you'll have to work 20 hours a day and stay focused - buy a Big bag of coffee and get a big bottle of asprin).

If you have the drive, know what you need to do and JUST DO IT - you will succeed.

Step one - SET A LAUNCH DATE

Thanks all for your insightful tips. All of them make perfect sense. I'd like to stay away from loans as much as I can.

For people skeptical of me making $10,000 from IM: for the record, it took me 3+ years to do that and I literally saved every possible penny I could. That's little over $3000 per year - $250 per month.

mmurtha, thank you for your tips as well. I am sure I will apply most of them.
