INTERNET MARKETING

Can anyone tell me how to put posts on each individual page?

lets say, i have an affiliate marketing page and i want to put all posts related to affiliate marketing on that page, how do i do it?

at the moment all the posts go straight to the home page which i have set up to just have one welcome message on. having every post appear on the first page messes with the meta tags and seo rankings etc so can someone answer me this.

What is the point in being able to have individual pages in wordpress when you cannot put individual posts on those specific pages?

You sort the posts and put them on the categories and not pages. Pages are pages - no posts there. :-) And I still love WP. :-)

Hi Tom

In WordPress your posts ARE all displayed on one page, you may choose to make this the home page (which is the default) or you may assign this function to another page (i.e."Blog" or "News").

What you want to do is to organize your posts into Categories, and display a Categories menu. This way all of your affiliate marketing (to use your example) posts will be grouped together.

Pages are meant for information that is relatively static - of course you may edit their content at any time.

Yeah, Categories is what you want to work on. Pages are just for static information like About Me, Contact, stuff like that. If though, you wanted links to Categories in a header bar and make them look like pages, that is possible but requires a little custom programming.

What you need is a plugin that allows you to list posts from a category into a post/page. Fortunately, like most things with WP, there is a plugin for this:
