Social Media for Backlinking

Most SEO experts will tell you that creating backlinks from high pr sites is essential to get your site ranking with some authority itself. While that is true, how can a newbie or someone with very little experience, just getting his website off the ground, or just zero knowledge or influence in his niche get recognized?
Noone wants to beg , or write guestposts just to get a backlink.
How would one who is just getting started have time to write guest posts, add new content to your own blog, plus work a full time job while they are trying to start a business online?

Here's a few easy places to get some pretty decent backlinks without having to spend countless hours building, begging, or bartering.

While most social media has nofollow links, that much is true, but getting traffic to your site is as important as well when your first getting started.
Be sure to fill out the about me sections after signing up at these sites so Google has as much info as you can give them.
