Not the actual disease, although I could probably sell my sweet sugary blood as some kind of syrup.

Ewwww.

No, a website about it. I going to do a site about it, regardless, but I wouldn't object to make a little money from it, either. Those test strips aren't going to pay for themselves.

Right now my basic plan is to use something fairly similar to what Dee Power outlined in her 'How To Make a Hundred Dollars a Day Thread' - a mix of adsense and affiliate programs, with an intention of list building.

I haven't found any CPA offers or Clickbank products that actually convert, although I'm still looking.

Any other ideas on monetization.

Hello there. Interesting timing. I am just finishing developing a diabetes style recipe book for this niche, however it will be rather cheap so I am not sure if we could fit together and both still make a bit from it. But if you are interested give me a shout.

Apart from that I have been in this market for years and I have found neverblueads "diabetic meal planner" to have fantastic conversions such as 1 in 5 and 1 in 20 on bad days.

Don't go with Clickbank products they take a LOT to convert. Otherwise focus on building a list and providing good solid information to the list.

Good Adsense pays pretty good by the click but thats compared to the current click rate which seems poor in many markets.

    Hope this helps.

Just test a few things out and see whats converting and what's making the most money and what has the most future potential.

Why not try making a clickbank product related to diabetes, if you know a lot about it, that shouldnt be too difficult. You can not only promote this yourself on your site, but the regular clickbank herd will promote it as well.

Try CPA offers. I am not familiar with the neverblue offer listed above, but neverblue is one of my favorite networks and they always have great offers, health related and not. THe tricky thing here is that offers expire, but if you are seeing good results, you wont mind doing the work to change offers when they expire or replacing with something else if there currently isnt a cpa offer working at the moment. CPA is a pain sometimes, but there is HUGE money in it if you combine a great offer with a good traffic.

Not a huge fan of adsense myself, but may be good in the niche.

Just try different things, keep testing, and then test some more!

      Awesome, thanks!

I've seen the diabetic meal planner offer, and I was actually looking to find a CPA network that offered it or something very much like it, so that's very helpful.

I may well give you a shout when I get things more organized.

You could create your own product by compiling some PLR articles on diabetes: The PLR Store - Private Label Rights for Profits also from Tiffany Dow's PLR MiniMart: http://www.plrminimart.com/dlg/cart/...234&c=4&page=5

Sell this directly on your site or build a list and sell it to your list. All you need is a PayPal account and an account at digitalproductdelivery.com or e-junkie.com to deliver the book to paying customers.
