How To and Any Good Sites To Contribute and Sell Stock Photos And Images ?

Hi,

I am an avid photographer and I am looking at contributing and selling stock photos online.

Was wondering if anyone out there has any recommendations of any good websites to sell stock photographs? And, what is the application to submission process?

I believe making money from photo online sales can be a good source of residual income too.

For your advice, please.

    Tim, there's a bunch of websites out there where you can start selling stock photos. Shutterstock and iStockPhoto are a couple good ones.

    Of course you can make money selling stock photos - but be aware the market is very saturated. There's also a lot of down time - meaning the application process and submission process for each photo can take a few weeks.

    i think you can try to contribute and sell stock photos and images at iStockPhoto, Dreamstime, Shutterstock or Flickr.

    Do you do photography for a living or is it just a hobby? I believe that if you would like to turn this into a source of income, it would be best if you would sell your skill instead and not the photos because as mentioned the stock photos industry is already saturated, people nowadays just reuse the photos and manipulate them in a different manner.

    You can sell service and your stock photos at the same time. Create your own FB fan page and use it to sell both your service and stock photos. Try with creativemarket.com as well to sell your photos. Good luck!

    There are tons of stock photography sites online that will take your photos. Just Google "stock photography sites" and tons will pop up.

    But I agree with the others above me. You should look into creating your own info product. Use your knowledge of photography and turn it into a course.
